Code Geass vs. Gundams

I must admit the Code Geass Knightmares are badass. But the Gundam series and it's longevity of Mobile Suit animes just can't be beat.

sorry to disappoint anyone here... but as far as the nightmares come out.. they are great mechs! however against a gundam, there is no fight! koopa is right that gundams cannot be beat!

i have to say.. it really depends on the pilot of the mech, not just the mech itself. Kallen and Suzaku are awesome pilots, but they wouldnt stand a chance against Heero from gundam wing, but Quatre is not as strong a pilot as him, or duo, or even the pilots from gundam seed, who are all great pilots.

What i want to say, facing "Gundam" as a whole is just like facing against 12 planets at once. "Code Geass" would never stand a chance. However, if you specified what Gundam series the Code Geass would be facing, I might reconsider my choice...

I would say stalemate. Those wire thingy of Suzakus Knightmare (forgot the name) would barely make a scratch against the Gundanium Alloy. The Main Cannons of Wing Zero would barely catch Lancelot. Neither would Lancelot's cannon could match Wing Zeros maneuverability.

The main gamble would be melee. However, Heero has much more skill slicing off enemies, so if Heero manage to hit Lancelot, it would be over. But then again, Suzaku's Lancelot is fast and he is a coward...jk

Gundam has got some nice looking mechs but kinda old school

have you looked at Zero's new knightmare frame...lol using a prysim with lasers to take out all those chinese knightmares...admit it you are jealous

But then again, Zero does not have the skill to pilot that thing carefully. Before he could pull that off, he must face the wrath of New-Types and Coordinators, both races with super human capabilities. I could just see Kira going berserk and Amuro kicking the Kinghtmares' ass.

well, the knightmare frames have much more manuevaribilty (or however you spell that) and speed, the gundams are kinda stiff at times, but like i said before, it all depends on the pilot

Yeah, in one on one, Rollo pwns unfortunately. However, in war against Gundams, Rollo can say goodbye.

technically, gundams are generally more advanced and powerful than knightmare frames since they were developed during the late or early space age. meanwhile, knightmare frames were in use around 2017 in code geass so they should be less technologically advanced. but you gotta admit knightmare frames looks so much cooler than gundams and they are used to much greater effect in their series (CODE GEASS HAS AN AWESOME PLOT) than gundams are. if i had to choose which one is cooler, i would choose knightmare frames, i had to choose which one was more powerful, i would choose gundams.

the experiance and technology is just to different, but both have thier goods and bads. In the way of speed and all around mobility knightmares win, but if you consider power, numbers, and designs gundams. But if you put those wheel things knightmares have on gundams, or just leos in general, that would kick ass.

Sure the storyline for code geass is good but i like how in depth the storyline for gundam goes. They just had the whole political thing going on while maintaining multiple stories about different crews and people. And I think that the Gundam series will always be considered one of the greatest of all time just because of the style the present. Sure gundam was out first but i don't think that code geass will ever surpass the gundam stories.

The Knightmare Frames in C.G. are really cool, but I like the old school. Gundams have been around for years, and without them, I don't think Code Geass would be much of a series.
