I'm writing all kinds of anime and movies (non-anime) and soon I'm gonna create my own TV station called American Anime. This way, I'll have anime created by me and a Americans, a few Japanese, etc.
I've already started a few anime books that I'm writing now. These are the titles:
Ninja Roll
Inner Cry
Fierce Fighters
Snow Eyes
A.W.F: Advance War Fighters
Havoc
soon I'll be coming up with more once I've think of some lol
If you want any info on these anime's I've come up with, please feel free to ask and I'd be glad to assist you with it.

Snow Eyes is anime about a war between Assassins in different districts of a large city. Snow Eyes is the code name of a new assassin who joined the North Side. His personality is quite unique. The reason they call him Snow Eyes is because his eyes are white and have a killer look. But...Snow Eyes is a split personality of a normal high school student who takes Martial Arts lessons. Most Assassin don't know of his true identity but if they do, then he's in a whole lot of mess. This war between the Assassins is to prove who the best group of Assassins are; North District, South District, East District, West District.
Right now, East District is known to be in the lead of most death and best accomplishments.
A.W.F: Advanced War Fighters is similar to Gundams and Code Geass. Only problem is that there's a war between different nations who are trying to obtain a special equipment that powers Mechs (mobile suit armor) into a new mode of power that could whipe out an entire army by one Mech. A.W.F is a rank of pilots who operate Mechs during the war.

Do you really believe there is a such thing as "american anime" ?:o.o:

lol American Anime is going to be developed by Americans
What Sp!r!t was referring to, though, was the fact that "anime" is a Japanese notion. It comes from Japan, sometimes originating from manga. So at first glance your concept is an oxymoron. *shrug*
Still, I like the idea of a network (or a crew, or a company, what have you) dedicated to bringing "American" anime into the mix. It seems people in the States have already worked with Japanese anime directors and creators to bring about various films and series. Your idea doesn't appear to be too far of a leap.

Final fantasy is American-made correct?
KayBlack

True...guess I should call it something else then huh? But I just want the best for some of the Americans who complain about Anime that happens to be in Japenese and want them to be within our language. My idea is to stop their complaints and give them what they want. Some Americans may not have a problem with the Japanese anime and yet others do. I'm doing this to equal it out and make every anime fan happy. Plus I did say I was adding Japanese directors and artists for their help and that's why I'm keeping their name "Anime" and adding "American" to it. Do you understand what I'm saying? Hopefully you do.

This one time, in a bookstore, I was in the manga section, and I say with really big manga that was about American anime....it was ok. The problem was it said it was American so I was looking for something that it didn't have which left me kinda disappointed. Did that make sense?

No it isn't.
Square Enix = Japanese video game company
The person who created Final Fantasy is Japanese [Hironobu Sakaguchi]
Unless, you are talking about some other Final Fantasy that I am not aware of.

Well, Salt has already explained what I meant. I couldn't use better words, thanks Salt ;)

It's just that anime will be always associated exclusively with Japan and Japanese animation movies. Personally, even though american stuff might be very similar.. (or maybe even better) than the japanese works... still... to me it would be just "american animation movies".... anime is an anime. Globally, when people talk about the anime they have only one thing on their mind- japanese stuff. And I hope it will never change.

Most of the times, it's divided into "manga" (for strictly japanese comic books) section and "comics" sections (where the rest of the american and other comics go)...
leerock, the other sentence doesn't make sense to me... errr... sorry......:dead:

Of coarse I'm gonna be working with Japanese people because it was me and a Japanese friend who came up with this idea. We're giving the people that complain too much what they want. I am aware of a few anime developed with Americans that turns out to be some of the best anime but there are very little that were made with collaborations between Japaneses and American. My dream is just to continue that legacy of collaborations.

I think its an awesome idea and although I understand what everyone keeps saying about the name 'american anime', thats what it is. Anime made by Americans. I mean if you called it something else, no one would associate it with the anime style of animation or anime type storylines, therefore, it wouldn't attract the intended audience. I know that anime is a japanese thing, but thats no reason to mandate that it always be japanese made. Made in Japan lol. Lets give it a chance. This person is working really hard and is excited about this... so dont shoot something down unnesessarily.
So in all seriousness, Good Luck Kay really. Make sure you give me more updates about your anime/manga, and tell me when I might be able to see some of what you've created. It sounds really interesting, so thank you for your hard work. I understand what you're trying to do and I think its great. Keep up the good work. XD

Thank you Hana...that means a lot and gives me more inspiration. Soon I'm gonna make a site for users to read my anime that I've created as a start and then I'll draw up some manga for them. I hope I can get this done so everyone will like it.

I know the difference between the two. I saw this in the manga section. It was right in between the Inuyahsa and the Naruto.... I guess what I was trying to say was that it was japanese enough for me.
