i cried twice in 5 minutes *SPOILERS*

i just saw the ending to fate stay night (i stalled around the boring part) and i was like saber dont die!!!!!!!*tears* then it flashes back to when she was in midevil realm, shes alive!!!!!!! then that other girl goes if you sleep again you can have the same dream, im like: yes go back to him *yay happy* but then it goes i think my dream might be a bit long what? *tears again* then there was like 20 seconds left so im all like happy ending happy ending happy ending( no happy ending) cries and post this up

Yes, the anime is indeed a sad ending. I cried too...
In the game (PSP I believe), Saber and Shiro indeed meet each other again at the end. No one knows, though, where. Shiro is talking poetically about meeting Saber in the last episode.

I didn't cry at this ending. I was more confused. Like ok she's conscientiously awake in real time now, so what ever she just went through(the whole series) happen while she was out from a hit. So does that mean everything meant nothing??

No. I think I read it somewhere in the visual novel. Saber is different from other Heroic Spirits. She offered her spirit before she dies,which means, her spirit can go to a Holy Grail War before she dies. So that means, when she wakes up in the end (before she died), her spirit actually came back from the future (Shiro's time). So everytime she spent with Shiro is not nothing, or dream. She just said it was a dream, since it was too good to be true for her.

Yeah I did. I absolutely loved the anime. But the ending was meh.

Well it was kind sad but i did the old man cry which is just having 1 tear stream down your face. Nothing like a good man cry. Personally though i thought the ending was gay as hell, i could compare that with the air gear ending.
