people that cant focus or pay attention to whats going on are sometimes called slow(in the brain). i personally think that this kind of people have some of the greatest minds. their minds hardly ever rest that sometimes there isnt enough space for the real world. this is why they cant focus. i am one of those people. i usualy dont focus to the outside because im caught up in my mind.
i pos this because i want to know what other people think and if there is anyone that shares my thoughts on the subject.

i am like that i tend to think about different things in my head when i should be paying attention. I tend to analize my surroundings, like predict what people will do around me by focusing on thier previous actions instaed of staying focused.

The title of this thread misled me to believe that it would be about the awesome British Science Show, Brainiac: Science Abuse. You disappointed me.

Same here, I too thought it was about the show. But yeah, I think everyone is thinking about other things than they should quite often.

I think that is what you call ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).

I kinda envy people with autism. Even though they are incredibly dumb they have this spark of genius in them which allows them to do extraordinary things in one subject.

You guys like Braniacs....? It's on here ALL the time. Vic Reeves isn't as good as Mark Hammond.

Brainiac once proved that staring at boobs gives you just as much of a workout as exercising.

Myth-Busters is one of the greatest shows ever made.

Brainiac once proved that staring at boobs gives you just as much of a workout as exercising. Oh really? Then you must be getting loooooong workouts everyday right?

We can't really clearly their minds.... because our minds continue to think, even when we are asleep... you can't just "shut" your mind (unless you're dead)
Clearing minds is possible... but it is hard to master.... or maybe if you are one of those Hindi masters of meditation ;)

They clearly keep Jamie for sex appeal. Why do you think myth-busters has such a large female audience.

Dang, I thought this were about Brainiac: Science Abuse but okay. Good question. I often buzz of when I should concentrate, but it never caused me any bigger problems. (For some things I'm just stupid...)
Reality can be amusing too, but a bit rarely than in our minds..as they say: It's all in your head.
