Ever have that "Hell yeah!" moment when you play video games? Well, now here's your chance to show off why you were pumped, excited, like you could take on the world. What have you done in a videogame that made you feel like a king? How did it make you feel? And did you try to show it off?

By the way, if you beat the Jet Bike sequences in BattleToads, you're automatically epic. But I still want to hear about it.

This is somthing I did after beating the game. After playing though Super Mario 64, and getting every star, you can meet Yoshi and get a skill to make the third jump in your triple jump move invincible, and make a bounce. I forgot to get it when I started messing around in the first level at the top of the mountain. I accidently did a triple jump right off the mountain, and I came sooooo close to dying. Instead of dying though, he grabbed the ledge of the moat at the very bottem. Holy crap I felt invincible when that happened.

Hm, lets see. The first time I got 54 kills in a row in WoW. I was on Vent (voice chat program for games) and actually shouted, "Hell ya!" ..Then people started cheering (slightly) and laughing along with me. XD But then I showed it off to everyone :P Other then that, when I beat the first Halo when it came out on the hardest difficulty level :P

I was never very good at Megaman games, as I could always get to the final level and usually no farther. How intense it was though when I finally beat Sigma at the end of the first Megaman X. I'm still not sure how I managed to do it though, all I really remember is trying for 5 hours just to beat him.

I just remembered another one, beating ninja gaiden sigma on hard as a difficulty setting.

Isn't the normal Ninja Gaiden set automatically to hard anyway?

Well it was a great feeling the first time I finished the 45min Baron run on WoW back when lvl 60 was still the cap, then of course when I hit 60 that made me so happy, and then I was screaming hell yeah when I hit 70 like 5 days after the expansion came out, before anyone else in my guild, I was soloing high lvl mobs like crazy trying not to get my ass handed to me. And then there was of course fighting Ozmo or Ozmos in FF9, the option boss that looked like a giant floating superball, kicking his ass gave me the warm fuzzies, especially when I geared up in dark absorbing gear and let him dmg himself w/ Doomsday while it healed me.

Finally beating Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on Hard after over 50 tries. GOD! That took me FOREVER!

Completing KoToR 1 when I was 11!

What difficulty, I beat it when I was eleven on easy, but I seemed to have beat each difficulty each time a year passed, lol.

Im not that much of a gamer (I do not have any game consoles, except my computer), but most of my first tries are amazing. My first Counter Strike, I owned my playmates. I know they are not going easy on me since there is money involve. There is this another game, from long time ago, where my friend can't beat the final boss. I beat it easily.

To you guys, I still consider the one on N64 to be much harder. I managed to get both the Landmaster and on foot battle for the multiplayer, and I have gotten medals on most of the planets. If you really want to own at the game, you gotta go the northern most route and win until you reach Venom. Then you can get the true ending and beat the final boss in his floating eyed, big brained, icky sticky slimey bastardness.

Elegroth
07-01-2008, 02:08 AM
LOL. Probably easy! Still tricky though...at that age.

I agree, it's still kinda hard, but not NEARLY as hard as Hard, lol. Took me 3 Months to complete Easy, 6 to complete Normal, and 1+ Years to complete Hard XD.

Also, another accomplishment I had was beating StarOcean: Till the End of Time and completing Tales of Symphonia. I'll say when I finish the hidden Secondary Storyline.

man if i could beat the rabaul raid level on Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII, i would be the first person ever to do so probably. that level is ridiculously hard, but if i beat the arcade match for the corsair, i'lll get an upgraded version of the plane and then i might have a chance at being that level.....might.

Have you ever completed Mission 50 and 51 on Smash Brothers Melee? Those were insane. I managed to beat 50 using Ness, though I came close with Jigglypuff for a long while.

Then with 51, I think I beat Master and Crazy hand using Marth and his counter to help prevent some of the damage.

You mean 1 bullet from only one weapon out of all? or 1 bullet per weapon?

I did those too, they were HARD, but I completely completed the game thanks to my afterschool program, I brought my Game everyday and trained against the Staff, lol. I eventually became eligible to beat everything in the game and even beat the Adventure Mode and Very Hard.

I used to play Tony Hawk games like crazy, so I got addicted to each one. If you play the thug games, you have to raise your stats by performance, but there's nothing quite as crazy as needing to get 2 million in points to raise that final stat (Not sure which stat, but holy crap was it crazy). You have to stay on the board for over a minute, doing kickflips and heel flips between ramps to add the combo, plus pulling off a few special grinds to help build up the numbers that will be multiplied. I swear that I had at least 100 tricks and by the time I stopped it was over 3 million points. This was in Thug 1, the Russian level.
