photo editing help

yea could someone help me with photo editing?
i know how to resize and crop so that it fits stuff the way i want it to
but i want to be able to write stuff over the pics for sigs
and make some moving images (.gif)s
could anyone help me with this?

well if u got photoshop CS2 + ImageReady....OR Photoshop CS3 you can go to www.pixel2life.com and search for tutorials.

just search like... "animation" or "sigs" or "text" etc.

well you can download it from a torrent website...get a serial key and all.
or try from Limewire, but torrents are much more efficient.

You can manipulate images with Gimp. It's basically the poor mans Photoshop. There are some tuts on YouTube on how to make sigs and stuff. ^^

i dont really like the picture2life site that was comented earlier, at least not as my main site, i think what im going to do is edit my photos on another site then maybe do some finish up or decrative stuff with that site.....i really dont like have it doesnt really let you choose how intence the affect is and i find it difficult to use.

i like to use a site called picnik.com its very simple and i really love it, it explains what you are useing and u can adjust how powerful it is acording to your prefrance.... you can get a free membership (there are subcriptions that let u use more stuff, but really ive only come across 2 things u need it for and i rarly use them on other sites that have them as it is)

flauntr.com is anouther good one but is harder to use .......i dont think it has as many cool effects but if u want a glammer shot type of thing it wouldnt be a bad shot to go to

and lastly a site i think is highly under rated.... photobucket.com ........ive done alot of editing on it and its probly my favorite... it often takes time and apllying one affect on top of another (i do that with all these sites) and lots of experimentation...ive found that trial and error is really the best way to lean how to edit my pics.....and dont forget to look for advanced options and mess around with them - remember u can always hit the undo button if u make a mistake.

ya dude, hit up whatever p2p you want and download a copy of photoshop cs,cs2,cs3. cs3 might be harder to find a serial generator, but I'm sure the first two will have way more than you're looking for anyway.
it costs................nothing.
after that, tutorials are a good way to go. you can even find video tutorials on youtube and such for figuring out the basics. otherwise, google what it is you want to learn how to do and you'll likely find some dude on vid showing you how it's done.
or you can ask me, but I work on photoshop to the point that I get bitter...plus I don't do gif work, just high powered super retarded photo work.....to the max, bro! excellent

well he said he's broke and wants to edit. you can't edit without the software, and the software costs hundreds upon hundreds of dollars.
plus he's gotten many redirects to sourcing his needs. don't just focus on the criminal aspects of this thread, the laziness is also quite apparent.

Not only what software should he get but also the ways he could get it (even for free/illegal way) but still, seems like he's complaining or feeling helpless.... I don't know how to help him. Maybe he is waiting for someone who will DO IT for him, lol.
