God, that song brings me to tears every time I hear it.

The song was written by Yoshiki (Pianist, former drummer) as a tribute to Hide (Guitarist), who died May 2, 1998. Both were members of X-Japan, as well as the singer, Toshi. Live performance, by the way.

"Forever Love" by X-Japan

This performance changed the entire effect of the song for me. Never again will I listen to this song without a river of tears flowing from my eyes.
