Ohhh, wow... another person whp loves Lovely Complex!!! I love that anime... I've watched the entire series.. a couple weeks ago... it was veryyy funny!.... And I'm looking forward to see next season... if there's any coming.... - do u know by any chance.. if they will continue this anime?

And yes, I've not only heard but also watched Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora..... it was a pretty good anime, not in my TOP favorites, but it was worthy to watch it ^^

My guess is.. no there wont be a second season. The ending didn't leave off as a cliffhanger so theres no need for a second season.

Well as a guy i probably don't watch as much as you girls, but there are some romance stuff i like. For instance Suzuka, that show is in my top 10 for favorite animes. Also Love Hina, but that was mostly because it was funny.

I would have watched kannon 2k6 till I found out everyone dies in the end , suzuka was like WOW , by the end of the show I personally wanted to gun her down....

I've never been a fan of romance themed anime.
Although I loved Fushigi Yuugi and Ayashi no Ceres years back.

The only romance I've seen recently are School Days (out of curiousity. And I only skimmed through it) and Bokura Ga Ita (I found their love story really sweet the first time I saw it on TV *ep16* but in the end I found it stupid).

I guess my favorite would be Bokura Ga Ita. There's no other better choice.

I just watched about 2/3 of the anime in fast forward. Didn't pay much attention to it.

It's a typical love rivalry. The guy (Makoto) is not just a playboy, he's sex crazed! He's been a lot of girls in his school.


In the end Sekai killed Makoto. Katsura chopped Makoto's body into pieces, put it in a bag, showed it to Sekai on the school rooftop, then she killed Sekai.

Come to think of it. It's more of an Ecchi anime than a romance.

I liked Rumbling Hearts, It was pretty good, though sometimes I just wanted to throw my computer because of it. ^^;
Junjou Romantica, (Yaoi) Was good, though waiting for the next season is killing me. Romance wise it rocks, but don't watch unless you like yaoi. lol
Fruits basket is the cutest, but the manga is way better than the anime.
Tsubasa has a nice little romantic plot line in with its action etc and is a great anime to watch (:

But they made a movie based on Lovely Complex (with real actors) Pretty funny, different from the anime.
And I must watch 5 cm per second... sometime... Maybe I will even add it to AF. It has beautiful graphics, as far as I saw it... hmm... melancholic...

I'm surprised unknown, I didn't know you like love stories... : ) and that our taste is somewhat "compatible" in this matter....

You have to watch "Fushigi Yuugi" If you have not seen it, it has a perfect ending!! but you have to watch past the credits to get it if i remember correctly, made me cry I was so happy after watching the whole series! Many great romance, drama, tension, comedy, and fighting all in one!

I actually enjoy romance and slice of life animes over action types even though I'm a guy.

Okay here is my list. Not all of them are romance animes but had good chemistry between the characters.

1) The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
I was wishing for more to happen between Haruhi & Kyon!

2) Love Hina, Tenchi Muyo, Green Green, Maburaho (harem animes)
Maburaho & Green Green wasn't my fave though, it was kind of cliche and I felt they borrowed a lot of themes from other anime or it felt like its all been done before.

3) Genshiken 2
A bit ecchi. Liked what was going on between Sasahara & Ogiue.

4) Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora
Reminds me of the j-drama 1 Litre of Tears.

5) Honey and Clover
There are lots of love triangles between all the characters. I think people in their 20's or 30's would appreciate this anime a lot more. Its quite relevant for that age group.

6) Vampire Knight
I'm rooting for Yuki & Zero rather than Yuki & Kaname.

7) Others like Midori no Hibi & Samurai X had a romantic feel to it too...
