I am pleased to announce the release of the latest version of a mod I own called vbArmy. Hopefully this will bring in some extra fun in the community.

So how does vbArmy work?

Each member begins their adventure by choosing a Race which had certain advantages over other races. They begin with a 100 soldiers, 25 Turns, 5 Spies and 2000 gold, and must build their army by fighting other players.

Players can buy weapons for their soldiers to increase their attack strength, and buy armor to increase their soldier's defense strength. However, each soldier can only use one weapon and one item of armor. Players can also upgrade their Defense and Offense to increase their defensive and offensive strengths by a percentage.

Players can browse through a list of participating players. They can conduct intelligence operations by sending Spies, which cost a set amount of gold to purchase. The more spies you send, the more accurate the intelligence you gather will be. Gathered intelligence gives you an estimate of the players total gold, offensive power, and defensive power.

If you choose to attack a player you must use "Turns." You only get 25 turns every 3 hours. The more turns you use, the more gold you will steal from your opponent. Be warned though, your opponent will know that you attacked them by viewing their Defense Log and receives a pm about the attack.

Naturally it is important to grow your army. The only way to get soldiers in the game is to have your friends click your "Recruitment Link" They can only click it once every 3 hours, and each time they do you will recieve 2 soldiers.

You get 5 gold for each soldier every 3 hours, so its important to get people clicking on your recruit link. You may want to post it on other forums so people can click it. Remember they don't have to be a member to click the recruit link.


You can start playing now by clicking the army link in the navbar at the top. So have fun and report any bugs you may find.

Thats not a big flaw...it still has a timer on it...all the link does is allow an account to click it once every 3 hrs..same if you click it yourself....

It's not a flaw it's a feature so if you have no friends you can still gain soldiers.

This seems tacitly unfair as they can continue to attack other players but cannot be attacked themselves. Yes I know some of you may not think this is fair if you have to leave town or will not be near the internet and can't touch your army for 3hrs to 3 weeks, but until we get a Vacation mode set up this is the only way we can keep things fair

Also, b/c there is no list of who is cheating like this or just isn't bothering to check their messages and delete them, I am going from the end of the player list upwards attacking each person, I'm trying to not attack active players, but since some of them are the ones cheating it's hard to do that and make this an effective test, if you are active, and can convince me of that fact, let me know that I hit you and for how much, and if it's under 100 gold, suck it up and deal with it, and I will find a way to reimburse you.


***And for those of you that I hit twice, sorry, everytime I attack, if I kill a soldier the list changes on me, so everytime I load a previous or next page, peoples names have moved, although I am trying to keep track of who I've already attacked to avoid this

Here is a list of the ppl that need to clear out their private messages so that they will no longer be considered cheating. Those with ** by their names are the ones who have manually turned off private messages and thus do not even have ignorance as an excuse that they were cheating.

Is it possible to reset your Army, like if you messed up your Army by starting out offense then going to defense after blowing a good amount of money so now you suck in both offense and defense.

I know how to play now, but I was messing up real bad when I first started.

well....what do u have to lose by just continuing with what u got?

if u reset.... U lose all the soldiers u had gained over time (if any)
u lose all the equipment u had bought...
u lose all ur money

...u get 102 soldiers + 2000 coin | 0 defense and 0 offence

so really..u can just sell all ur equip if u want....surely u will have more than 2000 gold coin ? then...it wud be the same as reseting..if not better (cuz u might end up with more than 2000 coin and more than just 102 soldiers)

The basics

Three hours is 1 round. That makes 8 rounds a day.
You can attack a person 5 times in a 24 hour period.
You need attack rounds to attack. You gain 15 per round, and can use up to 15 in a single attack.
You gain gold every round, so long as you have more than 0 soldiers.
Your attack is based on upgrades and on items you can buy for your soldiers.
You can kill units by attacking someone, and can lose some by BEING attacked, but only for people that have more than 100 soldiers.

You can attack anyone and anything, and you can also be attacked by anyone, and lose gold, but you won't lose soldiers until you have over 100. As for alliences, you can make personal alliences in the social groups, but the only two running right now are "The Old Republic" and "Orc Armies Unite!!"

Orc Armies only accepts uers that have orc armies, while my group, The Old Republic, is picky and only accepts based on skill.

There really is no win or lose. It's pretty much "King of the Hill", whoever is on top is the guy who's most powerful, dethrone him and take the title for yourself. I still have allies though.

yes it works and thats just the way the game is. its very odd. not like most browser war games, this one is basically based on your size, def, and how you get to people's head.

Well when I Write this it was more Alucard666 and Frokid17 but now you are present a lot of time in my defend list .... so I don't play for 3 day and when I come to chek how much gold I have for my upgrade I have like 2 gold lol so it suck a bit :( but i still find that game pretty fun and Oh ! no your army isn't 3 time mine you are close of 4 time lol XD

no its more like a lot are inactive, and after reaching 100 or something, me quiet frog and the other top people tend to attack them more and they lose soldiers and head back down to 99 lol. you only lose soldiers once you are over 100 and stop losing at 99
