Old cars are so much easier to work on and I think a lot of them look better. '72 Charger American muscle incarnate.

I voted NEW, only Bcuz of the fuel economy issue. My Cornet 440, and Cutlas 442 kinda drink the gas. During times like this, those cars sit around. Old car are bigger, better, ?faster? and probably doing more than my fair share of damage to MotherEarth. SORRY!!

New is better in regards to fuel economy...safety...and pollution....
But I vote either or because if it gets a person from A to B its good enough for me...

It all really depends on what your into. Yea there are some really nice old cars and new cars that are both really expensive. TO me as long as it gets me to point A to B and back again I dont care. Though I wouldn't mind driving a nicer car old or new

Old cars were meant to last longer and most of them have solid framing unlike the new cars which are made really flimsy. The newer cars have cleaner more efficient engines. If you really want to get down to it, you want an older model car with a nice frame and put a new engine in it. All the fun gizmo's and gadget's you can add without much trouble. Of course the biggest problem is the cost for this type of work.

The reason why cars have a less 'sturdy' frame is because they are designed to absorb impact so the driver doesnt die....
With some old cars youd crash and have a perfectly fine car..with dead passengers...Then again I guess you could sell the car for the funeral costs...

I would have to go with old because theres nothing like the plymouth roadrunner. No new cars can handle american muscle classic.
