Diablo II or World of Warcraft

Which do you prefere more for online play ,Diablo II or World of Warcraft.I porsonally like Diablo II because I have never played World of warcraft.:beaten:

Diablo 2 is still played to this day by tens of thousands of people, and by far is a much more fun game for what it is, but it hasnt had a major content update in about 7-8 years. So that is why for a new gamer I would suggest Diablo for experienced person WoW. ( Even though I preffer Diablo2 all around )

As like most of the people who play WoW, they also think it's boring and I see why. It's because (like Sadrith said) you have to go gather some things at times for an NPC in order to be able to progress in the game. As I told Mugen (yeah I'm dragging your name into this XD) WoW requires patience. It's not the type of game that you can go play for 10 min, and then be able to go do "End Game" (yeah, Diablo isn't that fast I know).

Those few lines made me happy xD He's right, WoW is an MMORPG and Diablo is an RPG, theres a big difference there. And as you said about Diablo vs. Starcraft, that would be much better.

well actually Starcraft is a RTS (real Time stratgy not an Rpg there even more different so actually online diaBlo 2 is somewhat simaler to wow

It's pretty much playing the normal campaign. Unlike Warcraft 3, there's little in the way of creativity, except for a different number of maps.

Yeah,already knew that,but diablo has familiar aspects with starcraft..First of all they are released about the same time..so they have familiar graphics.Also the multiplayer experience is about the same since it's point-click games.

Anyway if you're going to argue about Diablo vs World of warcraft,you should take D3 against wow ..

Diablo II smacks WoW in the face and pees on it. Seriously. In ten years or whatever people won't be playing WoW anymore. Instead they'll play some better looking mmo. Diablo II has a rich following of dedicated players. It has been 10+ years and many games have came out with better graphics. Still, people play it. Sure not nearly as many, but that's because all of the people who first played it are now adults with lives/jobs/kids. Still some of them hop on BNet to do some Baal runs though :).
