All animes, tv shows, books, ect have different rules on how a vampire can die... if they can die at all that is.

it really all depends on where you're looking for answers since while some mythos do seem to give them similar abilities, even that isn't constant, no one mythos verifies that there is a single common weakness, it varies too much, yes in some stories they are too powerful it seems, but in others it seems like they are barely stronger than your avg person, and their weaknesses vary just as much as their abilities, so it's kind of hard to say if they are too powerful

Well in legend no they are not to powerful. They could fly and do all the fun persuasive stuff. But an animes like hellsing i do think that they give them alittle to much power but that only adds to how amazing the creator wanted that character to be Either for a strong enemy plot or an impossible task plot. Either way the power of vampires id spread out from story to story.

somethings i see why they should be bullet resistent because they are undead after all. Having enhanced reactions I think is normal and persuasive ablitys but where is the line drawn at too powerful. Also they should be able to die from having there head sliced off or there heart destroyed and sunlight.

I think vampires have just enough abilitys and weaknesses. I mean if you think about it, all the different weaknesses and the abilitys that you see, read etc. and add them up that really makes an equal balance between both.

And I'll agree, I may not have read/watched many things with or about vamps, but from what I have read/watched, they seem to have the same amount of weaknesses.

Different kind of vampiers have different abillities... you all know of Vlad a.k.a Dracula, but it really depends of what type you speak of....

To many variances of vampires. Some are TTOO strong and some are a little weak. Beheading is one of the common ways to kill a vamp I noticed.
