PS3,360 or the wii

i prefer the ps3, the xbox kinda pisses me off......i feel the ps3 delivered next gen gaming, if developers used it to its full potential games would be insane, blu-ray can fit alot of data, games are only gonna get better, the wii is a cool different system, i have nothing against it.....well thats my opinion, whats yours

I agree with you the ps3 just has more things you can do with it. You dont have to play games on it there is so much more you can do.

360 For me. I love all of my old Xbox games plus the newer ones. I never really liked any of the playstation systems, never worked as well (imo). The Wii I have nothing against, it's fun but in a different way from the Xbox.

I own all 3 I think my favorite is the PS3 I use it the most anyway but I enjoy messing around with the Wii things like the internet channel and polls and the miis. I haven't really touched the 360 since I got it.

360 hands down right now. The reason why is because of one aspect, the games. Games make the system. Like the Wii with Wii Sports, games make the console. The 360 has the best line up right now with games like Halo, Gears, Mass Effect, Ninja Gaiden, etc (Yes I know those games have PC ports but we arent talking bout the PC now). Not just that, with announcement of some big name JRPGs like Star Ocean 4, Last Remnant (360 release before ps3), Infinite Undiscovery, and Tales of Vesperia, the 360 is expanding its audience not just here, but overseas.

The Wii is a close second with games like Brawl, Galaxy, Kart, etc. But you have to look ahead and see that there really is nothing coming out right.

As for the PS3, it is hands down the most power. I belive it is only a matter of time before it has the best graphics. The only reason why it isn't doing any better is the games. The PS3 is lacking in this department. The only games its has are Resistance, Motorstorm, Metal Gear Solid. And the future doesn't look too bright either, with only big name games such as Resistance 2, and the Final Fantasies.

That is just my opinion now, along with the fact that the PS3 will be the better of the 3 by the end of this generation when it gets some more games. And sorry for the wall of text, just had to get that off my chest.

I completely agree though without astounding games the system doesn't mean crap. i mean i know that ps3 has mind blowing graphics, but it doesn't have the games to back it up i mean, i saved up for the ps3, but i will probably only buy the new FF games. Probably only 2 FF games will come out for it until the new ps whatever comes out. The problem with the ps3 is the lack of games. Now the 360 has awesome games like stated before, so the obvious choice "FOR NOW" is the 360

wii wasn't meant to have next gen graphics. they have pushed the wii's graphics in super mario galaxy and a few other games.

i like the 360 good games on it the graphics are awesome, i like the so few games on the ps3 but the graphics in a few games seem a little cartoonish.

Alright, well I'll say what I've been saying since they all came out, but first I'll tell you that I personally prefer the Xbox 360 because it's an easy way to connect with friends and play the games together.

I feel the PS3 is better if you're the type of person who wants state of the art graphics, even if the 360 does have its moments where some games deliver crisp graphics I feel the PS3 just gives you more. The Wii is more geared for your personal entertainment or if you're a person who prefers to stay active and get involved in your games instead of just sitting there with a remote in your hand. Lastly, the 360 because of the reason I like it. You can stay in contact with friends while playing games or even play the games together and as a bonus you have your own little gamer card, microsoft points at your hand, and etc. etc.

In the end, I agree with Silver. All these consoles possess qualities for different types of users, so it really depends on what type of gamer you are.

Wii is my console of choice. Mostly because of the surpemely awesome Virtual Console and WiiWare titles that are coming out for it now. Anyone with a Wii here should have World of Goo. Best freaking independant built game I've played in forever and reminds me so much of the old Incredible Machine games. Also, I'm not so concerned with the title games the Wii has now (though Smash Bros never fails), I'm looking forward to all those awesome games in this coming year. MadWorld and The Conduit right off the top of my list. Also 2 Monster Hunter games.. I freaking love those games, Fatal Frame 4, and I'm hoping the rumors I've heard of a new Ogre Battle game being made for the Wii are true.

The point is not to pick a winner, it's to figure out who likes what more and why, and if that applies to the reader. As you say, different people, different likes. This thread is about understanding other peoples likes, not about trying to convince someone to come over to another side.

Back on topic...

I like the 360 for it's great lineup of games. The ps3 may have some games that stand out, but most games for the ps3 i'd want to play have come out for the 360 as well. J-rpgs have been coming out for the 360 too now, so the ps3 has no leg up there. The wii has been entertaining for my family, but it's not really for me. My guess is that in their attempt to make it a console for everyone, they made me feel out of place as a hardcore gamer.

ignore the chump above me obviously they dont know what they are talking about. the ps3 and the 360 is the real question wii's are for girls and people who like to pretend there jerking off to beat zelda. the 360 and ps3 share cross platform games and a few that the others dont have so its up to you which ones youd find more interesting but the ps3 has bluray but if you dont have a hdtv then its useless to have it. i owned everything i sold my wii because i never played it even when i had friends over we played my ps3 or my 360. I say get both eventually but start with the 360 since it has a larger game library then get the ps3 when they drop a little more in price
