You know, I look at this thread, and I see people arguing back and forth amongst themselves, so completely off topic that it's ridiculous, and even then, it isn't as bad as the whole point of this thread, which as far as I can tell, seems to be a 2nd venue for Killion to ***** and moan about how he was mistreated and to act out his own version of the suicide plea, ie. someone calling up someone else to say they are going to commit suicide for attention. This amounts to the same thing, starting a thread to say he's leaving because he feels mistreated on the internet? Let's face it, it's the internet, if you are going to let every comment or action send you screaming for your mommy and off a website, then you don't need to be here. People aren't the ones keeping you here Killion, you obviously want to stay, you just want to feel that you are getting the attention you think you deserve and to feel that you are in the right when you were the one flaking out on your staff duties. Adding this to this thread as well to make sure no one who has issue w/ me over this situation will miss it, and so as to show that I'm not the scary, arbitrary monster that some people see me as, I am actually very lenient when it comes to behavior and actions on this site, I'm just trying to do what is best for the site.

***Now, after a recent pm from Killion, it appears I may have been in the wrong, in his case at least, as other staff demotions I stand by, but if after I have a chance to verify his statement, I find that I am in the wrong on this particular demotion, I will freely admit I was wrong and he will be reinstated on a new short term probation, if, after the probation is over, the staff as a group, since I don't decide these things arbitrarily, we do use somewhat of a democratic method, decide that he is a good fit for a staff position, he will be retained once more until such a time as he no longer fulfills the obligations he has agreed to. Now to avoid further problems on all sides, it would probably be best if I were to take care of this now, but it's time for sleep as I have work in the morning, so this will not be resolved until after work tomorrow. Guess we'll see what happens then.

Just a heads up for those interested, while I never did find anything to corroborate Killion's version of events, he is being brought back as I stated on a probationary basis to help us w/ the backlog of requests, after the probationary period is over we will look at his work and see if he will be staying with us as a staffer
