Since people would feel left out if they weren't gamers on the systems, I'm changing it so that you can talk about absolutly any game you want, so go nuts! What games have you play that you loved to death as a kid, hated as an adult, would use for frisbees or spinning disks of death? What are your memorable games?

Personally, I've played a ton of different things, some of my favorites on the ps1 and gamecube. So, since I know everyone loves this, let's start with my tie for number 2 rpg of all games, Legend Of Dragoon.

congratulations, this is the 2000th thread in our forum yippee.
Why not the most memorable games you have ever played not just since the PSone?
Games that I have played that were memorable were Super Mario Land 2 on Gameboy, which was the first video game I ever owned, Paper Mario, and Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy IX

Spyro 3, how I loved that game so.
Personally I like all of the first three, before Immsomniac lost the rights to make them. And, as you know, they went on to create Ratchet And Clank.

Super Mario Land 2 was great. Wario Land as well.

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time(and sequels), Ocarina of Time, Super Mario RPG, Legend of Dragoon, Final Fantasy VII, VII, IX, and XII, Super Metroid, Metroid Prime(and sequels), Super Mario 64, Super Mario World(land?), there are just too many that bring back fond memories of camping out in front of a system for hours or days on end, if it hadn't been for gaming also I might not know a lot of the ppl I have met over the years, and I probably would have read the books I own so many times the pages would be falling out now, so let's hear it for gaming, hip hip huzzah!

Raymond? as for zelda, I mentioned one of the Zelda games, I just forgot to include the sequels like I did for some of the other games, and I wasn't a fan of the budokai games, fighting games are fun, but I prefer action/adventure, like Zelda/Metroid, or RPG like FF/Tales/Star Ocean, and of course that was another game I forgot to mention fond memories of, Tales of Symphonia, hanging out, playing that w/ my sister on 2player mode was great, and while some ppl may have fond memories of playing fighting games, I don't really see them evoking memories for me

Most memorable? Easily KoToR; completed it at age 11! ^____^
Most haunting moment is, and i'm sure you Max Payne fans will agree, is when you are following the blood trails and there is a baby crying in the background...*shudders*

To Corwin and david4smit, I'm pretty certain that the game that's being referred to is Rayman, the limbless fist shooting hair propeller hero that makes you wonder if he's missing limbs or if they are invisable.

An Everybody Loves Raymond game? Wouldn't that be kind of hard to pull off? Though, it would be funny seeing someone sitting on their sofa playing it...

Some of my older memories involve playing Mario Bros 3, but I only ever made it as far as the 4th screen in world 8.

One of my all time favs is legend of the dragoon for the ps1. I sometimes pull it back out so i can dust it off and play it. I think it was one of the best games to ever come out. The graphics were so good for the playstation when it came out i was amazed.

I know what you meant Blarrific, the xbox wolfenstien was released in 2004 if I'm right, and the origional in 1988, two years before doom was relased (I may be off on dates, but it'd still be close)

So far the game most mentioned has been... Legend Of Dragoon! This is with four different posts mentioning it, between myself and 3 others... Not counting this post of course.
In second place is Super Mario 64 with 3 posts between three people, plus one quoting, and tied with that for second is Ocarina of Time with 3 and a quote. Final Fantasy VII might be tied as well but I keep losing count.

Believe it or not, in the tomb raider series, ive never touched a strategy guide, and never had any probs. Those kinda puzzles are easy for me. I have trouble w/RPGs tho. dont kno why>

I dunno why, I never really understand a game when I jump right into it. I only ever played the game as a demo or at a friends house, and I couldn't have a clue what I was doing. Same with the first hitman game. Rpg's, I can take my time and learn everything while I play.

I have never played a Mario game, when we first got the oldschool gaming decks, I was in Highschool. To busy to touch them, watched my sisters kids play them and (at that moment) thought "What a waste of time" Now, sometimes, I regret it.

the story. most people keep playing the sequels to find out "What next?" Im that way w/Devil May Cry, and Tomb Raider

Skitzo is right blaa, it's just that almost every FF story is different, or at least different enough that it makes it worth playing, it's like finding a new anime to watch, some elements may be similar but the whole is different and interesting enough to keep us coming back
