Naruto Ultimate Battledome! (Anyone interested?)

I'll probably be starting a Battledome thread. (for those of you who don't know what a battledome is, you take a character and use their abilities to fight another character in an imaginary battle. obviously you have control over the character and you can use them in any way they have shown in anime/manga battles.) the goal is obviously to win. I was thinking of creating a Naruto Battledome where we would create a team using a points system to make a team out of characters from the Naruto series. you and your opponent would go head to head in a randomized location from the naruto series.

first you'd have to make a battledome section..

and code geass battledome fights are pretty boring since we know almost nothing of their fighting abilities.. xD

yeah ok, I guess this sounds like something ppl might be interested in doing, I will do the research on it tomorrow as I've said, then pending the results of the poll, I will make my final decision, but right now, it looks promising

oh and yeah the code geass one one would e as simple as knowing the frames certain alitysand i got that in the few episodes i have seen.

this particular tournament would be using Shippuuden chararcters. that gives it alot more scope.. but for future threads, we could make a thread just for the original series of naruto..

Unfortunately after researching the idea a bit it was determined that this takes a massive amount of time and effort from dedicated staffers to get this set up and running correctly all the time. Therefore we have determined that it is not the best use of our resources and will be discontinuing this project at this time. However we do have several other ideas on our plate to replace it, one of them being an rpg mod based on a similar principle so that you can still get your anime char fight fix

no, I did not say rp mod, I said rpg mod, as in an actual game interface, simplistic though it may be, that would allow us potentially pit either specific characters or armies of one anime 'verse against another, of course as I said, this is still in the discovery and development stages, none of this is guaranteed

just like w/ the battle dome idea it is something we are looking into, right now it looks promising, but a lot of the new mods like this while they are easier to take care of than running an actual game engine which would require programming knowledge, they are also kind of glitchy since they are new
