Anyone else listen to japanese music just for the sake of listening to it? I'd have to say it's interesting to listen to, even though I have NO idea as to what they're saying.

If anyone is interested check out Shinsen Radio. Streaming radio for MOST anime related music. Of course I did notice that there were a couple songs in there that weren't but hey, nothings perfect.

I stumbled upon a few of Utada Hikaru's songs and favorite'd them. I have a few anime soundtracks on my comp. And a few techno remixes of Hikaru's Kingdom Hearts songs in my Favorites as well.

lol I've noticed that most music sounds better in Japanese. I try to listen to most of the songs in my head in english, and wow, let's just say I'm partial to Japanese

I am a big fan of J-rock, Visual Kei sub-genre(ish) Music. I am a fairly big fan of An Cafe, and I like Metronome. Also kinda like D and Nightmare. Utada Hikaru is pretty good, I had the KH theme song on my mp3 player for a while.. till it got run through the washing machine.. T_T.

I think that my favorite anime themes are #1: The theme to GIS SAC 2nd. gig (Though that's russian/english not japanese) And #2: The theme to Gunslinger Girl, which also is not japanese, but I still really like it.

all I can say is, I listen way too much, bought way too many anime related and just j-pop/j-rock cd's from my local anime import store(god bless them) and it got to the point where I'd be going somewhere in my car(before it died, and it wasn't just my fault like the comp) and I'd be singing along in japanese perfectly(more or less for an american white boy w/ no linguistic skills) and realize about the time I got to the mall, best buy, or local anime import shop(all times going to pick up more anime) that the cd player in the car wasn't even on to begin w/.....truly sad.......and my sisters are like that too, especially w/ Utada Hikaru's KH songs in both english and japanese versions
