i was thinking of kira.. what he do is simply killing though he kills murders, robbers but also those too whos are too near to his secrets. i think kira hasn't got a right to kill though hi thinks this is justice.

i haven't watch the anime series of this yet but i had watched the movie version of this . . and based on what i saw i think none of them represents justice (that's just my opinion). because kira, given the opportunity to kill people, uses this to kill criminals . .i mean there's always a chance for these people to change their lives and be good. . L on other hand was just trying to find out who kira is and capture him. . what's justice there? ? well these are just my opinions .::D:

i have phylosophy classes and i thought that Light's case would be a great topics to discuss. He has got the biggest desire to make peace on Earth, and he wants justis. But he also wants to be the the new good of the new world. i think his brain somewhere wrong... he has got a sharp brain... but ad he act... he is more like a demon

Oh yea!! Go megalomaniacs!!! L is a pansy doesn't want to put his great mind into becoming the ruler of the world. I mean imagine if L and Kira teamed up to take over the world they would be an unstoppable combo.

Clearly when you've watched the show you are supposed to say L.
Kira is just a power-hungry bastard. For proof watch the scene at the end of episode one or the scene where he kills Ray Penber.
You can also reflect upon the fact that Light also thinks that Kira is evil, until he gets his power back (making him a loon once more). Or the fact that he just uses everyone for his own end, The fact that he kills his girlfriend (near the end) and the fact that he apparently enjoys killing.
You are of course supposed to be in doubt, but in the end L is justice.

100% L. Only God (if you believe in one) has the right for judge.

Yet another old topic you decided to revive.. /sigh
I'll answer this one also. :3
Light IS God..
Therefore, Light Yagami is justice!

I would say neither.
Kira's doings in theory could be called justice, however, he becomes too fascinated by his own power, even going so far as to allow himself to be called 'kami' (god). Thats way out of whack. He just was never the type of person who could handle that sort of power without losing himself. Innately evil.
And as much as I LOVE L, he doesnt represent justice either. He is the type of person that isnt as interested in bringing about justice as he is in solving 'the puzzle'. All crimes are simply about solving and thinking, like a game.
Both are ready to sacrifice the innocent to meet their own ends. Kira to keep his identity a secret, and L to solve his puzzle. And wheres the justice in that?
>>> But L is still the best!!! <3

This is asking for L or Kira..not Lelouch or Kallen's supposed "hotness".
Also, this gave me the impression that you love to kiss ass.

I think kira represents justice because he kills criminals. Now some criminals I don't think deserve to die like burglary, and minor crimes like that, but like major crimes such as murder, etc. they deserve to die. So I think kira represents justice.

No one has the right to take the life away from any person no matter the action he has taken in his life,so Kira is automaticly out of question.. If i had the power of either one of those,i would have gone with L's judgement.

Well am justice!! Athrun is justice! lol!!
Kira was a prick. No one has the right to make jujdment like that. THe punishment should be equal to crime, but it shouldbe personal. If someone killed my family member, id kill them - but to take on the vengeance of others isnt a good idea - its play ing God, and thats a baaaaad idea. Plus, claiming to be absolved of evil is another folly - i hated the way he didnt grasp the fundemental contradiction in his actions.

An eye for an eye is no longer a law required of us to follow. Only God (and those appointed by man) has to the right to judge man.

Kira was justice, although society warps that definition through morals. He was simply doing said justice in a time that wasn't parallel with that of society, thus his downfall.

the means are blessed by the cause.Kiras cause was justice...L s not so much,so Kira represents justice.L is just a smart spoiled brat who hunts criminals for his own pleasure.oh,and Kira totally outsmarted L so Kira=God,L=Kira's bitch.(to Ls fans:dont get me wrong this is just my opinion and I totaly respect L...he's the next best thing:))

I gotta go with Kira on this one because he tried to improve the world, even if that meant that he had to become the bad guy.
I will admit that he got a little carried away with his powers, and was starting to be a little douchy.:o.o:

Depends how you look on it.
If you think about it they both represent Justice, but they both go the wrong way about it.
The way L just uses convicts to bait Kira, its getting the results but its morally wrong so you know alot of people would think oh that bad he cant be justice rarr rarr rarr
As for Light, i mean he has the deathnote and doesnt really use it for personal gain but just to rid of the world of crime, yet still what man should have the power to take anothers life, and you know killing cops just so he can go on with it. that doesnt seem very justice-e.......... i no this all sound idealistic but hey, thems the breaks

i think L..^^

Well I don't think that either of them are morally "correct" but I think that L's isn't as bad as Light's. I don't agree with the death sentence full stop, in any situation...

Kira simple as that. many of you are saying how Kira also kills police and stuff. Well look at it this; way if you were told that you sold solve all the worlds problems by killing some one and some got in your way what would you do?

you cant solve violence with more violence it only causes violence

Nightmare, i urge you to see the series again. Clearly you have not seen the many, many times it is apparent that Kira isn't doing it to help anyone. It is seen when he declares himself god in episode one, when he kills Ray Penber, Ray Penbers wife, when he loses the book and many many other times.
Furthermore the amount of innocent killed are far higher than a few policemen. There are the FBI agents for instance, and all the people killed when he gives the book over to the company (cant remember the name).
Lastly harsher punishment does not cause less crime, actually its often thought to have the reverse effect. Think about it this way, a person in Kiras world taken for speeding would be killed. Therefore he has nothing to lose, and might easily choose to kill any witnesses to save himself.

kira kills tiowards a goal being a god of a world ideal to him meaning he kills for POWER
L however is useing the justice system to right wrongs and puts people away for no gain of his own
Kira kills people for the means of his so called "justice" but he also planned to kill misa after she lost her worth when misa shared his ideals to the letter
I think murder by any means is wrong and one more thing why did kira kill prisoners that were to die by the chair anyway? i mean the ones that werent caught yea death note away but the actual prisoners? they were gonna be shipped to the slaughter anyway the reason is he used thos prisoners to piss L into playing his tiwsted little game.
therefore to me L is justice.
