Your first major show

Any one remeber their first major anime they watched I do it was Dragon Ball z Come in and talk about the somewhat older shows and if you select other please specifiy.

I watched a lot of these, but the one I remember watching first was definitely good old Dragon ball Z. I watched Pokemon and Digimon as well. Of course back then I didn't refer to these as anime, I had no clue what an anime was but I was watching them lol. Another show I remember seeing was Tenchi Muyo!

DBZ/DBGT were waht i grew up with then gundam wing when it came out

Those anime bring me back good old memories, but my first major series was DBZ, then the Gundam series, and Sailor Moon Xp

My first anime show was something way before Sailor Moon! When I finally got to see it I though "what a high quality"....
But before Sailor Moon, one of the first shows I ever watched probably was "DAIMOS" (anyone remember that?? such a legendary anime ^^ ahhh)
other stuff, hmm... "Yattaman" (which was in Italian!! lol .. and the only word I remember was "ah-yu-do" which means "help!")^^

"Captain Hawk aka Tsubasa"....
then "the Genesis", "Ghost in Shell"...

though I do remember watching astro boy when I was little, I didn't actually get into an anime series until dragon ball came on. I remember watching the first 13 episodes over and over again for like a year or so before they finally started playing new episodes and DBZ. then gundam followed suit...no pun intended...actually, the pun was intended.

Ginga Nagareboreshi Gin!!! Thats a bit different from the rest of you. It was pretty big in Scandinavia 10-15 years ago.
Watched it again a few years back together with a friend, who had also watched GNG as he grew up. Thats when i started really watching anime.

It is hard to remember since i started watching anime when i was 7. The first things i remeber watching was kikaider, sailor moon, gundam, and cyborg 009. It is so long ago that they are all blended into one big blure.

My first big anime was Black Cat. I saw that well before I watched Death Note and it blew me away. The story was awesome and the graphics heavenly.
