We need QCers. We need a lot of them. Our current QCers (read: ZK) are ridiculously overloaded and nearing their breaking points.
If you have the ability, time, and willingness to join our team, please come to #shinsen-recruits on rizon and talk to myself or Doria.
Please read the following post before coming to apply:
QC Job Description (http://forum.shinsen-subs.org/showthread.php?t=79)
A few things to note:
The second you enter the channel, the test begins. What does this mean? It means we are reading everything you say to see if you really have a good command of the English language. If you're too lazy to type properly on IRC, then you're probably too lazy to do a good job QCing.
We can, and will, teach you how to catch timing, typesetting, and encoding errors.
I need people who are detail-oriented, committed, and team players. You all know that we work on a lot of series, which means I need people who actually have the time to be around and do the work as it comes.
Good luck in advance to all those who try out.
P.S. Being born and raised in an English-speaking country doesn't mean anything to me.
***The idea here is that if you want anime faster, you can help this group out by QC'ing for them, basically you watch the anime and make sure everything is right
