Well, I was browsing some news websites and found a few links to videos about 2 kids getting suspended because they had a Death Note replica, and were writing other students names in it. Virginian Teen was suspended (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJF1No5JQPQ)
Student in Wilson County (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIjiA0AW5zo&feature=related)
Also, a kid died a few months ago from imitating Garaa from "Naruto" News Video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dXcIZFPpow&NR=1)
Dunno if these are already on here, I didn't see them anywhere
NOTE: EACH NAME OF STORYS ARE VIDEOS TO YOUTUBE, CLICK THEM AND WATCH THE VIDEO
Hahaha....not impresed..stupid ppl dont impresse me!

ya, it went down a bunch in china apparently, and now it's banned. there were kids getting killed trying to jump from roof to roof after the spiderman movies too. kids are the wave of the future...a pathetic, wobbly wave.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manga_MurderHuh, thats really interesting. lol I kinda wonder who did it though. Because it sounds like it could have been a killer but it is also possible that a medical student did it because they do have ways of getting body parts.

Unfortunatly it can't be helped!.. i believe that people now are looking for an excuse to run or leave things behind, or are retarded! its one thing to try stuff, but still.. its sad.
Thats crazy ppl killed over anime and manga you have to be really stupid to do something that you kill your self over

Thats the thing, people are really stupid. People are going to go and see something on T.V or in a movie or even in a book and say, "Hey, this looks like it could be done in real life, lets give it a try!" and end up killing themselves or someone else. A lot of these people don't realize the danger factor in any of these stunts even if they think it's fool proof. Example, the imitating Naruto story, these kids did not understand that their friend could end up dying from lack of air. The Death Note stories, even though no one got killed (not counting the one Koopa posted) they still have a very high risk factor.

What really pisses me off about these is that the parents/teachers/news people don't even recognize or had the intelligence to look into what the Death Note actually was, one of the videos said the Death Note was a "web site" and the other one said it was a "gang hit list" wtf, it's from an anime people.
Also I love how they call anything that's animated, like anime, a cartoon on the news. "Naruto is a cartoon about a group of sand ninjas". Riiiight. Everyone in Naruto is a sand ninja. And it seems the only footage they had ever seen of Naruto was a Youtube clip of Gaara. This seems like the Fox News report on how evil Mass Effect was when none of them had actually played the game.

It actually is a website that was taken down around the same time this was aired on T.V, though the people remade it into "Debu Note" which is translated to "Fat Note" The real website was something where you can actually right a persons name and how they are going to die in there, none of it will come true of course. Not sure why they would think it's a gang hit list though, but your right they should look into things more before airing the stories.
Yep, everyone one is a sand ninja uh huh. Fox should have really looked into Naruto more to start airing some news about someone imitating it.
EDIT: http://phoenity.com/debunote/ is the "Debu Note" Death Note parody online version where the old death note online was.

Monsoon, I doubt Fox news has even seen that picture before. That picture has nothing to do with Naruto. It is completely different. I doubt even the kids that were doing the Naruto sand thing have ever seen that.
Not trying to sound rude but in my opinion that picture you posted was very pointless.
Mon, I see you edited it and the reason being because it's a combination of humor and sarcasm, but still; it was pointless

or better yet that they refuse to acknoledge the fact that this kid did something unbelievably stupid while nobody was watching after them and suddenly it's the fault of the show. it turns in to a simple tragedy rather than an act of irresponsibility.
