It's just a nightmare. They really don't mean anything. Either you watched, read, saw, heard something scary, or just felt scared, and that was what your imagination came up with, or it was entirely random.
Don't freak out or anything. It's just a dream.

dreams are (in a simple way of saying it) random things in your mind put in a bowl stirred up and then rolled out... there is no explanation for dreams... they are fiction.. they can not hurt you
Well not fizicaly, but mentaly i guess they can!

elements of dreams are often simple symbolisms. the demon can represent one thing, while you being in it's head can be another, while choosing to attack children instead of, i don't know, women, or puppies, or other demons can be another thing. Their representation are often based on either subconscious relays of emotion, like stress or anxiety for example, or they can be reconstitutions of previous experiences.
you should check out one of those dream analysis web sites, they never tell you exactly what's going on, but they do give some good hints. I'd say if you had a dream like that and you woke up puking, you were probably stressed out about something.
here you go, here's some quick tid bits based off what you posted:
demons in your dream, represents ignorance, negativity, distress or your shadow self. It also forewarns of overindulgence and letting lust give way to your better judgment. As a result, your physical and mental health may suffer. (hence the throwing up?)
A dream of the dark is never a good aspected omen as after such a dream you are in danger of losing control of your temper and causing yourself a lot of hardships and losses.
a head in your dream, signifies wisdom, intellect, understanding and rationality. It may also represent your accomplishments, self-image, and perception of the world. (maybe if they're being lopped off, then it might be an attack on these things?)
To see a wound in your dream, is symbolic of grief, anger, and distress. You are looking to be healed.

So I had a dream last night but I'm afraid that the contents were so offensive and evil and just plain wrong so this is all I'm going to say about the dream. Not! I dreamed I was floating in the blue sky, looking down at the Earth. I remember flying past the Rockies, past L.A., the Pacific Ocean, and stopping to gaze at what I believe is Shanghai. Then a pink midget in a space suit popped up and told me to look up. When I looked up I was suddenly sucked up into this crazy interdimension where everything was like a ever changing kaleidoscope. Then I saw my friends bowling in a nebula, if that makes sense, and I woke up.

i had a weird dream this morning about this girl i knew back in high school and primary school...her brother was working for this gang killing ppl, then he had this fallout with the gang and he disappered. then her mom had disappered. i was talking to her and asking her if she was alright and if her grandma was still there to take care of her. and she said how her grandma was the only one left...
it was weird cuz i also dreamt the annoying ppl from primary school along with my friends from high school.
then i dreamt of loading a whole lot of episodes of Gintama
...it was really odd...

As hours and days go past I will start picking up the dreams I had in the past and start putting them together. I know it sounds stupid but ........

From the big lack of detail in the description of your dreams its hard to decipher something specific, mostly just general things like AnalogZero Has pointed out, if you are very curious about learning what your dreams have in store for you, i would suggest practicing "Dream Recall", just be cautious and dont let what might come up freak you out. although you may only remember a small part of one dream when u wake up without knowing much detail, Dream Recall will help you remember things and make you notice that you dont only have one or two dreams every night, you can have much much more. Basically Dream recall teaches you to write down details about your dreams while sleeping, you dont even notice it really then u wake up and see you have written pages of stuff lol.
This can take years to master like it could take a month to get very good results so dont get discouraged if you do try it.

that dream recall sounds crazy, tho I wish I could go make sandwiches while I slept. that aside, I wanted to add to what you said about having more than one dream, cuz it's true. the majority of dreams we remember are only from about an hour or so before you wake (not totally accurate on the time, but it's a minority of your sleep time regardless). your mind is still quite active while you're in deeper sleep, but it's when we're becoming more conscious that the mind begins to record what's going on. you could've been dreaming about bunnies the whole remainder of the night for all we know.

This is a little information on dream recall a kinda "how to" i didnt write it, all credit goes to Puzuzu.
If your interested please read =)
Believe it or not you can learn to recall most all your Dreams. With these simple techniques you can start remembering dreams within the first or second night of practice. It's sort of like self hypnosis in a way. You are simply making suggestions to your mind before you are completely asleep. This state of mind is called the borderline sleep level. It is when your brain is most likely to absorb the suggestions.
They say that certain foods can cause bad dreams. Well I don't know if that's true but, I do know from personal experience that when I eat cheese or drink milk, I seem to have more intense dreams. Not necessarily bad dreams. Then again, sometimes when you eat food before bedtime that gives you indigestion, it might seem that it is causing you to have dreams. This is do to the fact that the indigestion is keeping you slightly awake. You know that borderline sleep level I mentioned earlier, so you are slightly aware of these dreams. There is one other thing to consider. If you are having intense dreams and they are in color then more than likely you are having a OBE. Out-body-experience or otherwise known as Astral Projection. We are not going to get into that for right now. We will on another page. All right let's get going! There are 4 easy steps to this. That's it!
1. Preparing for Bed : Try to get the body as relaxed as you can. If you have to stretch or even do Yoga all the better. You can even meditate to clear your mind, so that that you are more prepared for the next step. You don't have to eat or refrain from eating before bedtime. You may do as you like. Try experimenting with eating different foods before bedtime and see if you get any different results in the end. Make sure you have a pen and pad handy to write with next to the bed.
2. Programing : This is the most important part. When you get to that borderline sleep level (which is right before you are completely asleep) you must tell yourself over and over again that you will remember all your dreams and you will wake up after each dream and write down your experience. If you don't like having to repeat all that then try tape recording yourself saying these things. Make sure that you tape at least 10 - 15 min. worth. That should be sufficient.
3. Taking Notes : This is also very important. If you successfully wake up
after each dream, then you must write down everything you can remember in detail. Write down whether the dream was in color or black and white. This is why we will keep a pen and pad next the bed. Make sure not to put it in the bed with you. You don't want to end up stabbing yourself in your sleep. Then you must try to go right back to sleep. Keeping the pen and pad handy. Hopefully you will go right into another dream and repeat the process.
4. Reviewing the Night : Now it is time to review the night. You will be amazed at how many dreams you actually had that night! I usually find that I have 10 - 15 dreams a night and sometimes more. Everyone dreams and everyone dreams many times a night, they just don't know they do until they try something like this. Make special note of dreams that are in full-blown color, for you will want to reference them once you start studying Astral Projection.
i had a dream. this girl kept following me all day and when I tried to tell some one they didn`t know who I was talking about. can you help?

The worst nightmare that I ever had I woke up screaming, drenched in sweat, with new scars on my body. I had this nightmare 14 years ago and remember every detail about it! Yes, it was that horrific! here it goes.
After I fell asleep I found myself wandering through a red and orange mist through a cave-like tunnel. The tunnel opened up after passing through a double doorway covered in scratch-like writting into an area that had no ground or cieiling. Only more of that bizzare mist. I was standing on a narrow walkway that had no support what-so-ever and seemed to stretch for many miles leading to a platform that held a huge table around which was seated many devils and demons. From this platform was a staircase suspended in mid-air which led to a throne, upon this was seated a great devil, who was shrouded in darkness and mist. The only portion of him I could see was his left forearm and his clawed feet.
The moment I became aware of this great devil I was grabbed from behind and hit over the head with a dull, heavy object. When I came-to I was bound to the immense table and saw that I was cut open from my collar-bone to my groin, with hooks and barbed wires holding my flesh open like a gutted fish and my ribs broken off, placed onto the table beside my rent body. Of all of this I was completely aware and was experiencing pains I never knew imaginable.
After becoming aware of what was happenning and screamming in pain, I heard a dark and hideous laughter that came from the great devil seated on his throne; it resonated through-out my whole being. The laughter stopped after a short time and the great devil said the only word I heard him speak through-out this ordeal. It filled me with terror and I began to scream again! That one, single word that struck me with terror was this, "FEAST!" It was a command!
After His utterance of this simple command the lesser devils and demons around the table upon which I was splayed tore into me with fang and claw! Tearing the flesh and organs from my prone and helpless body, spilling the blood from my veins int unholy chalices or they simply fed from the source, my very body! No matter how much pain or damage which was inflicted upon my person I never once lost consciousness! I was completely aware of every single terror inflicted upon my person. I was violated in every single way, knowing everything without the bliss of oblivion! I could not die! No matter the damage rent on me , the organs and flesh torn from my body, the blood drained from my veins!
With my body mostly gone from being consumed by these unholy dieties, I was torn from the table and dragged by what was left of my head up the staircase and was hurled at the base of the throne! I was missing an arm all of the flesh, meat, organs and bone from my torso, save my spine, my left leg was gone, consumed! My right leg from mid-thigh to my foot was nothing save badly gnawed bone. And half of my skull was torn from me!
As I landed at the base of this ghastly throne two succubi began to eat what little was left of me as the great devil roared with laughter! Itried as best I could to see his face, but it was all for naught. The darkness and mist veilled him too strongly! As his mockery of me continued one of the succubi tore my heart from the remains of my chest and offered it upon a golden platter to this devil lord. When his laughter stopped He said only one more thing to me,"This is what awaits you when you finally arrive." Then He tore into my heart with that great fanged maw of his and the moment His fangs pierceed my heart I woke screaming in terror, covered in sweat! But the nightmare would not stop! Even though I woke up in my bed my room was filled with that red mist and I could still see the Devil Lord clearly through the mists sitting on his throne, cloaked in shadow from where I sat on my bed panting in fear! Isn't a nightmare supposed to end when you wake-up?!! Yet, I could still see and hear him even though I was no longer sleeping!!! Then relief spread through me! The sun began rising, and as the sun's rays pierced my room the hellish red mist began to disappear! as more and more sun came in the shroud of mist began to vanish. When the dawn finally broke the curse of a nightmare had at last been broken!
With the disappearance of the mist I searched myself. There were scrape marks and scratches all over me! many of which still bled! my bedding itself I had to throw away because it was soaked in sweat and there were bloody marks all over them, many of the blood stains I could not explain because even though I had scratches and cuts all over me, it was impossible that all of that blood came from these wounds.
I have only told one other person about thus nightmare I had, but it should brong you some solace that there are worse things of which you can dream!

while it was an actual dream, it happened long ago. It's still sticks in my mind 14 years later. That was the only time I ever had a nightmare that bad. Haven't had anything like it since. Well, I've had a few that have made me wake up in shock, but that one was the all-time worst nightmare I've ever had.

I wasn't able to find a whole bunch of points for your dream, but I stabbed at what I could. Maybe it'll give a little bit of insight as to what was going through your head, shoga.
To see demons in your dream, represents ignorance, negativity, distress or your shadow self. It also forewarns of overindulgence and letting lust give way to your better judgment. As a result, your physical and mental health may suffer.
--same thing as before, it can be an explaination for your physical injuries, but I can't exactly say why. I'm sure with the mass of demons and devils and king demons you probably had your hands full with what was going on in your head while you slept.
To see your heart in your dream, signifies truth, courage, love, and romance. It is representative of how you are currently dealing with your feelings and expressing your emotions. Also consider the saying 'the heart of the matter' which implies that you may need to get down to the core of a situation before proceeding.
--If the devil was eating your heart, then perhaps you're attacking the core of these emotions. It could've been a response to some type of traumatic emotional experience, and your subconscious was wanting you to get to the bottom of your feelings.
To dream that you have an awakening, signifies that new ideas will be realized. You are experiencing new awareness that is unfolding in your life.
--don't know quite what to make of this, since you awoke to find yourself in the same situation still. my best guess is you tried to resolve the problem in your sleep but it didn't work...
To see the sun in your dream, symbolizes peace of mind, enlightenment, tranquility, fortune, goodwill, and insight. It also represents radiant energy. It is a good omen to have the sun shining in your dream.
--speaks for itself that the sun chased off the mist. There might be a chance that what ever the problem is in your dream it's not something that will truly harm you forever. Sort of a "things may look bad, but they'll get better."
unfortunately I wasn't able to find anything on the mist, which seems like it'd be an important factor. same with the devouring, though that could simply be another psycological attack on yourself. Sounds like you surpressed something serious and your brain got mad at you. But I suppose it's done now.

Not very good at this type of thing but here it goes.
Last night I had a dream that I killed a little old lady. No im not joking, I dont know why she was there I dont know her purpose. But I know I did it in my house, I saw the trees out front as well as our deck, I believe I ran from... something down the road.
I was unhappy with the murder, afraid of being discovered and my future ruined. "I just started out in life and now im going to jail" is one of my thoughts. I attempted to bury her, as well as stuff her in my closet. Most of the time I ran around in a panic. I never focused on her, I never remembered the killing. I just know that I killed her, I never actually saw the corpse. Its like I was stuffing the thought of the killing into the closet. If I hid her, no one would find out.
At the end another old lady pulled up, her friend, something to do with a florist, and then she started getting suspicious. Eventually she pointed and shouted that I killed her friend, I woke up at that point.
I know this was disjointed, can't really think of a decent way of writing a dream.

Going back to that old nightmare, I didn't see the sun in my dream. I woke up screaming shortly before dawn and was still experiencing the nightmare when I was wide awake. I wouldn't really call it a hallucination because I was watching the nightmare; with everything going on, superimposed over my actual bedroom. That is, I could see my bedroom, I was fully awake at this point, and could see the devils and demons, landscape and all, dimly through the mists. It was only when the dawn came streaming through my bedroom window that the mists and the horrors dissapated. The more the sunlight came through the more the mists and nightmare visions would vanish. Dissappearing completely with the advent of the dawn. Now, this all happened when I was fully awake and aware of what was going on around me. I could here my roommates getting dressed in the other room but, was too scared out of my life to say anything. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before or since, thank the gods! I woke up in severe pain and confusion because nightmares are supposed to end when you wake up. This one didn't. It only ceased when the sun was fully rose. I haven't thought of this dream in years until I saw this posting. Just thinking about it and remembering it is fatiguing.

that's a different ball game then what I thought you were talking about. Best guess at that is that your conscience and subconscience were both playing ball on the same field. The shock of the dream must've lingered, and I suppose if it was as realistic as you claim, then your mind was probably having troubles differentiating reality from your fiction. Some of the statements I mentioned before could still hold some light, though I'd say that the sunlight breaking your dream was probably more a case of intense sensory reaction trying to shock you back into reality.
so, ya, just avoid having dreams like that, haha. I've had numerous recurring dreams and nightmares, and I know what you mean when they come back to bite you in the ass.

K, I just had an odd dream last night, and I kept waking up periodically and going back to bed and it would continue. It wasn't so much a dream as I was creating a game and the people in the dream would play it out and when stuff would happen it would just create new rules.
anyhow, the game was somwhat of a race, everybody would drop what they're doing and rush over to where the race started, which was at some crazy fortune telling brothel place. you'd be dressed kinda odd, and you'd start running, but along the way other racers in another race would try to attack you with whatever they had: fists, baseball bats, swords, wierd throwing stars and shurikens, etc. I kept ending up in odd locations, like pirate ship themed restaurants, or back alleys, or spots in video games, until eventually a good handful of people were dead and I was back at the house I started from, which for some reason or another I thought was the house of a friend of mine from high school. I had to sneak in a window on the forth floor of this very victorian looking house to get in, and when I got in there all the rooms and everything were bare and coloured a sandy beige. While trying to make my way through the house I ran into the lady that owns it, and she took me to a room upstairs and began explaining the game to me, though i don't remember her saying anything in particular about it. She tried to strap me into some really strange sex toy thing that I couldn't even begin to explain. Later I left and my dream began to fill up with people (all people I'd been racing with) making sexual references or myself making sexual references. It didn't last long as I woke up again and decided I'd had enough of that dream, cuz it was odd and going nowhere fast.

And just a couple nights ago I had another dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. Get this in my dream last night i was swimming in the ocean, but the ocean turned into fun balls like at kids places. And my friend got lost so i went in to find him and i got lost and all the balls turned back to water and we both drowned like my mind set me up for a trap. I have no clue what this means any ideas.

I'm gonna look it up, but I've read before that dreams with oceans and bodies of water can be tricky, because things like the colour of the water, the clarity, things in it, etc. can alter the potential meaning. the funballs and lost friend could be something simple though.

Sometimes the smallest of actions during the day can set them off, previews for movies, or something a friend said, plus if you dreamt the dream once and you think about it alot it is likely to occur over and over

Most of my dreams feel real. For example if i get punched in the face i feel most of the pain. but if i fall and just before i hit the ground i wake up.

It means you can see the future...
Maybe its a sign of something
Or maybe youre sick?
Or its a ''nightmare'' and when you woke up, you didnt feel good..
Off Topic: I had a dream a tree fell on me and when I woke up, I was on the floor..................

here's some bits of what I could find related to your dream. It wasn't much, cuz I couldn't find anything remotely solid about the part with your friend (dreams involving friends can be wierd like the bodies of water thing, their attitude, relationship, actions, etc. can change meanings in odd ways), or the ball pit, but maybe this will shed a little light on what your head was up to.
To see an ocean in your dream, represents the state of your emotions and feelings. It is indicative of some spiritual refreshment, tranquility and renewal.
To dream that you are drowning, signifies that you are overwhelmed by emotions or repressed issues that is coming back to haunt you. You may be proceeding too quickly in trying to discover your unconscious thoughts and therefore must proceed more cautiously and slowly. If you drown to death, then is refers to an emotional rebirth. If your survive the drowning, then a waking relationship or situation will ultimately survive the turmoil.
I kind of see your dream progression as that of a basic story with a beginning, middle and end. you start in a tranquil environment representative of a calm emotional state. you're then thrust into a situation involving a particular friend in which you see them being in need of help. whether you recognize the ocean for what it is or what it isn't you jump in regardless and throw your emotional state to the wind in hopes that you can make good of your efforts, but as the drowning represents you seem to be emotionally getting yourself in over your head. question is, did you live or die?
I had a dream one where everything was made out of glass and crystal and the water was flowing down the glass...I don't know..it was creepy and beautiful at the same time...
glass in your dream symbolizes passivity or protection. You may be putting up an invisible barrier around you in order to protect yourself in a situation or relationship.
To see water in your dream, symbolizes your unconscious and your emotional state of mind. Water is the living essence of the psyche and the flow of life energy. It is also symbolic of spirituality, knowledge, healing and refreshment.
I guess the easiest way to look at this is that you're being protective of you emotional state of mind. It seems quite unusual (or creepy I suppose) when attempting to analyse cuz the fact that the water is running is a rather good sign that your "living essence of the psyche" is flowing, but it seems a tad odd that you're looking to close it off. Perhaps the passivity is the key and you're just dreaming that you're doin' just fine. keep up the good work !D

first off, you're playing diablo too much, haha.
second, I think I mentioned one before about awaking from dreams anly to find yourself in another dream. It seems this is somewhat the same only backwards. Here's the most clarifying thing I could find:
"It is not uncommon to have more then two levels to a dream the main reason here is fear and worry over life's circumstances. There is no interpretation for this dream as it is not a symbol it is condition of the state of the emotions of the dreamer."
Being aware of your dream's inability to progress is probably relatable to an inability for some emotional pause in progression. I guess if it occured a ways back then you've likely worked past it.
was there a part to diablo that you were having trouble with and it made you frustrated, perhaps? hehe

I have plenty of bad dreams, one is that me and about 10 to 15 plp were in this warehouse running all around to get away from a canable(spelling) that was attacking plp. But when it got to only 5 people left the dream switched point of view to me seeing with the canables eyes and after tearing everyone apart I finaly caught myself and the last thing I saw before I woke was me going to eat my screaming face. Of course when I woke up the first thing I saw was my face in the mirror on my wall. I woke up everyone in the house screaming. I think the worst two things about the dream was that after the change of view i could actually tast the plp I was eating, and looking into my own terrified eyes.

Did anyone ever consider that these are all just dreams and they really don't mean a thing and serve no purpose other than to keep your mind occupied while you are asleep?

...i dont know,.my psychology professor told us that youll never dream anything that doesnt have any realation to you,.
and it has many meanings,.
it just depends on the dreamer on how he/she will interpret that dream,.so
the judgement is yours,.
what do you think that means!?,.♥

You see all of those dreams don't bother me a bit and I even have had weird dreams like those or just plain stupid ones. The only thing that bothers me is when I'm dreaming but then again I'm not and when I'm at that borderline stage and all of a sudden I just open up my eyes. For no apparent reason I just end up flashing my eyes open and then I'm awake.
Back in the Greek times they thought that dreams actually were telling you what to do so whatever you were dreaming of you were suppose to do when you awoke.

Haven't had any dreams lately. [that I can remember]
However, I do remember a dream where I sprouted out bat-like wings trying to escape being captured. I flapped my arms furiously but I was only able to get a few feet high until one of them got hold of my leg... and then I woke up.
It was a cool dream, I wanted it to continue because the flying part felt real.
But could you see why kids love cinnamon toast crunch?
Yes, because it has cinnamon swirls in every bite!
It's the taste you can see!
