Hey everyone. I have always been searching for a good game to play on my Nintendo DS and was never able to find anything that I could really get into other than EBA Elite Beat Agents. However the people at the gaming stores always said, "Have you played any of the Pokemon Games?" I would give them a look as though they just had to be kidding.. right? Well anyways. I finally decided to give it a shot. Picked up Pokemon Pearl (The latest version) last week and well, I love it. I actually have yet to play any of my other games for any of my other systems since I started playing this.

Anyone else big into Pokemon Pearl? Anyone got any hints and tips they would like to share? I know I have one.. one that I have learned just from playing, and usually one I use in any sort of hit point rpg game.

Tip #1: It may be time consuming but spend extra time running around in the grass as soon as you get your first Pokemon and continue to do this throughout the entire game. Work on your pokes and get them leveled as often as possible.

Tip #2: Put your lowest level poke in the first slot in your Pokemon screen so that when you go into any battle your lowest level poke is the first to come out. If you think you can beat the battle with that poke then go for it, if not then bring out whatever poke you want to use right away. This gives exp to your lowest level each time and helps you raise their levels without having to really battle with them.

Tip #3: Catch everything you can. You never know when you will need something. Plus, the theme to Pokemon is "Gotta Catch Em All" right? So just stock up on the basic balls and try to keep a decent stock of the rest of your pokeballs so that you can continue to build your collection.

Okay, I know I said I only had one. Hehe, guess I was wrong, I thought of three things that I wanted to share. What are your Pokemon tips?
