some guidlines for reviews?

I think I got this in the right place, though maybe it should be problems/questions? anyway.

Our reviews of anime seem to be all over the place, with no standard form or function. With this in mind I've noticed that some member(s) of the staff have come back through and cleaned up and added some things. So, I was wondering if someone could take a few minutes to write a set of guidelines of what should be included (or not) in anime reviews, at least enough to hold us over until we get full time reviewers.

well we now have a reviewer so we'll let him set this up when he gets a chance and when he decides a little more about how he wants to do things

Speaking of which, the ratings made by the first reviewer isn't shown (only the average score, and the score of those who comment). I would like to see the first ratings as well, since the first rating are best accounted for (has the most filling review).

I'm afraid that at the moment the writing and editing of the reviews has been restricted to reviewers and staff only, mainly due to the cause that more then a few of the reviews already done were either 1 sentence or 1 paragraph long. If you would like to become a reviewer then please go apply at website announcements and contact demon fox. Sorry for any inconvenience and thanks to all that have participated in the reviews.

If you enter the actual review you can see what the viewer voted on on the top right box.

As I am still waiting for DemonFox to edit my title. leerock and myself have been speaking and will be doing our very best to create a well formed and organized area. Already I have some ideas for a base line structure.. and once things settle down here in real life I will be speaking with him about that and then we will be getting with DemonFox on our ideas. So no worries, we will do our best to fix everything up asap!

Ok I see what your talking about. I have already asked Demon Fox to change it to show the writers own poll, so now we just have to wait for him to implement it.
