From the Ashes
Nite walked over to the ashes of where Fin was burned alive. He took a ziplock bag and placed some of the ashes inside. He saw Seiya leave the room and he grinned, gleefully. Zipping up the bag, he left the room. The room was left quiet and eerie; blood covered the onyx-tiled floor.
Once Nite was outside of the Manor, he glided along the wet grass to a nearby spring. He kneeled down and placed a hand in the ice-cold water and sprang forth a small puddle in his palm. He quietly poured the water into the bag. Nite then took his dagger and poked his forefinger. Blood dribbled and three drops mixed in with the ashes and water. He swirled the mixture and dumped it onto the ground. Water spiraled upward from the grasses and a naked woman with long, light blue hair stood in the midst of the magic.
“You will be known as Wo.”
“Yes, sire,” she replied coldly.
A boy walked out into the clearing and stared at Nite in the eyes from afar. Nite stood up and smiled once again. The boy walked toward him and kneeled down before Nite. Nite patted his head and he, too, kneeled forward. The boy red, puffy eyes from crying and was silent. He closed his eyes as Nite bent over and bit his neck. The boy winced with pain and fell flat to the ground.
“Welcome back…Riion….”
Nite walked away from Riion and Wo followed him into the night. Thoughts of Saki ran through his mind; thoughts that would soon kill her.
To be continued……
