Mugen.
And I prefer Cowboy Bebop I guess. Course, I like bounty hunters/mercenaries. Not to say I don't like Samurai Champloo. It's a good series and I enjoyed it.

I'd have to say Cowboy Bebop as well, kind of like the whol... wow, I don't know why I like it more. Nevermind, no explanation behind it.

Oh I'd have to say that Cowboy Bebop is my fav between the two. But that's only because I saw it first and when I first saw Samurai Champloo I thought it was a rip off of Cowboy Bebop. Because it's two guys, one ditsy girl, running around doing random things and kicking butt. But then someone told me that they were made by the same person... So I don't know if that's true or not but I like both, just Cowboy Bebop better.
I like both, but i like cowboy bebop better, prolly just cause ive seen more episodes of it tho.
but both r awesome

i love both, but if i absolutely HAD to pick, id' say Bebop. the episode "Ballad of Fallen Angels" is one of my alltime fav. anime episodes ever! (last episode of the first bebop disc. i think it's number 4)
They both have ridiculously appropriate and charming soundtracks as well as balanced and entertaining storylines. I'd have to say both. It's just too hard to decide. D:
They're both classics.

Yeah, Shinichirō Watanabe, directed both of them, but did not write Bebop.
I saw bebop first as well (it was the first anime i really saw when i was growing up), and it has remained one of my favorites. I love champloo a ton though too. I would guess that the success of bebop allowed watanabe to really put alot into champloo and make it the show that it is. the animation is stellar and the dubbing is fantastic. bebop and champloo remain some of the only shows i watch dubbed.
In the end i probably like bebop more, but that's only because the movie is one of my favorites.

I prefer Samurai Champloo 'cause it's newer. Although Cowboy Bebop is RIGHT behind it. My favourite episode of SamCham is the one were Mugen learns how to read/write. Very funny. My favourite Cowboy Bebop episode is the about the 'shrooms. They all try them and wierd/funny things happen to them.

They are both really good anime. I liked the Shamploo ep where they find that field of weed and the Bebop ep where they do the shrooms. If I had a choice it would be Bebop only cause of the movie.

Cowboy bebop.
Both. Faye Valentine is amazing , and Champloo doesnt have that cool female equivelent. However, both are refreshing breaks from anime dogma, but also maintain the fundemental appeal of it. Plus, they both have the two most amazing voice actors - and voice goes a long way...
