Demon Reborn
The night was still young when excruciating pain pierced through Saki’s heart. Saki screamed immensely as sweat covered her forehead and dripped slovenly down the side of her smooth face. Her eyes dilated and her pupils shrank. Fangs formed in her mouth as another jolt of pain overpowered her. The fingertips elongated into red claws and her wings evolved into skin like a bat’s. Saki’s hair also altered to blue. It was no longer Saki. Seiya had returned.
Find Riion…annihilate him! Said a devil-like female voice from within.
“Yes. Kill him.” Seiya whispered aloud.
Seiya slid out from underneath the covers and went to the window to open it. She climbed out and proceeded to the Kurai Manor that stood to the east. It was raining once again and thundering roared ahead as raindrops pounded on Seiya’s body. She picked up incredible speed and reached the Manor just as quickly as she had left. The door was left open and she walked on in.
The grand staircase was just ahead of her with two lion heads on either side of the posts. It was carpeted with red velvet and had golden plated edges on the marble floor; an oak grandfather clock stood at the top. The dinning hall was to the left and the guest living room was to the right. A vampire sat in one of the black, leather chairs in the guest living room. It was a woman with light green hair. She looked to be about 22 years of age if she would have been human. The woman stared blankly at Seiya and smirked. She got up and glided toward her.
“You must be Saki. I am Clea. Nite said you’d be here.”
“No, Saki is asleep in the back of my mind. I am known as Seiya, the devil’s daughter.”
“Then it’s an honor to have you as a guest. Please come and have a seat.”
Seiya grew angry and seized Clea’s neck with her left hand. Slowly she elevated her up; choking her.
“Where is Riion?”
“The *cough* boy…*cough cough* he’s downstairs; last door. *cough*.”
Seiya shoved her to the side and proceeded forward and turned right to go downstairs. Rain poured inside from where she had formed holes in the floors from her previous visit: soaking everything. Clea landed on her hands and knees and she grabbed her throat gently, trying to get some air.
As Seiya flew down the stairs, the alarm went off. Vampires came out from the corners and surrounded her. Six men and women were ready to fight. Twelve against one? How thoughtful!
Seiya exceeded up into the air and held out her arms, then closed her eyes.
“From the flames of hell, come forth! Jigoku hisaki!!”
A large circle of flames surrounded Seiya and expanded forward to the twelve vamps that tried to run. The flames reached them and they burned. Terrifying screams filled the stairways and into the darkness. Then, the bodies disintegrated, leaving a pathway that was covered in cremated souls. Seiya grinned and darted down further to the basement. Once she reached ground floor, she saw thirteen doors: six on the right and six on the left and one straight ahead of where she stood. She ran to the middle of the hall when all twelve doors on both sides opened and skeletons that were engulfed in dark green flames stumbled out one by one.
“Twenty-four? Not bad, Nite. I’ll kill you and then I’ll annihilate Riion.”
The first two skeletons reached and scratched the sides of Seiya’s arms. Blood began to drip from the gouges as Seiya did a round kick and knocked them both to the ground. Four more walked slowly to Seiya and stopped fifteen feet away. Green acid flared from their bony hands and the flared balls zoomed in the air and hit Seiya, but no scratch was found from the impact.
“Jigoku Hisaki!!”
Another circle of red scarlet flames expanded and burned the skeletons without fail. When the bones broke apart and fell to the floor, Seiya ran to the last door and opened it. She stared as she saw Riion kiss a pink haired girl. The girl started to evaporate from the feet. The girl smiled, and then there was nothing left of her. Riion turned to the left and stared back Seiya. Silence fell before them, Saki had awakened from the slumber deep within Seiya’s mind.
