Bruce Lee was epicness with his concepts, but he never proved himself as a fighter except for a few exhibitions and fights, but nothing to UFC heights. Jet Li did win quite a few medals and is considered a treasure of China but.. They all pretty old now, better off looking at a UFC guy. ::D:

actually if we were to consider the "old school" martial artists like Huo Yuen Jia, i would have to change my vote to Wong Fei Hung. HE would actually have to be the greatest martial artist of all time. He was a doctor from Fushan who had over 10,000 disciples in his school, Po Chi Lam. btw Po Chi Lam > Huo Yuen Jia's Jing Wu School.

Bruce Lee didn't fight in any tournaments. He displayed his martial art, which he didn't consider a style but a concept, of having no style. He didn't display his 'concept' in any tournament, but he did show several exhibitions. But I've not seen him use nunchuks outside of a movie.
