Debate Room password?

I really love a good debate , however i never seen a debate thread password protected? may i ask why this is??

there is a glitch with that and probably other sections of the forums on this site that seems like it will only allow someone with a MODERATOR password to post in them.

The only forum with a password is Mentality Symposium, which was created for the members that had a high IQ. That section of the forum is dead, so there's no real point in posting anything in it.
