Its quite literally japanese interpretations of rap, in all honesty about 90% of what i hear is kinda crappy =P but once i filter through all the bad stuff there are some good songs left.

hmm, i never actually heard j-rap, the only j-pop and j-rock i hear is what's the opening/closing of an anime...so that isn't a lot >.>

If you've watched GantZ that opening is J-rap by supershooter, although it isn't all that great. = /

but jpop/jrock is so good, of course I can only understand like one work every 6 songs, but the beats are catchy, the lyrics seem to flow well, and b/c I don't know what they're saying I don't have to complain about how stupid the song sounds, I've been listening for almost 12 years after a friend got me hooked on the stuff

Yeah although if i knew fluent japanese i think i'd enjoy it less, the lyrics from j-songs are always so obscure.
