View Full Version : ALL anime ends :(
I am always dissapointed when my latest anime ends. :( I just finished watching eureka seven took me about 2 weeks and I have to say the final episode confuses me , what the happend to eureka and renton I mean I know they lived but why wernt they back in bellforest in the year later scene all they show of them is a very blurry picture of them in the woods somewhere, its weird. Maybe someone can enlighten me about that if they know.

I really hate it when a series ends [actually, when dbgt ended, i was depressed too....:( ]
but the ones that really got me were the first Digimon series [[well I liked them anyway-_-]] , D.N.Angel and Fulmetal Alchemist. TT_TT
The ending for Eureka 7 didnt really confuse me as such, but it would have been nice if there was a better feeling of closeure at the end.

I have to agree with Albusalba. The Fullmetal Alchemist ending was depressing. Especially if you've watched the movie x.x
I actually think I died a little inside when that happened...;_;
And when DeathNote ended.
To tell you the truth though, I'm terrible at actually finishing anime. I get so distracted and I hate seeing something come to an end. That's why long running shows like D.Gray-man, Naruto, and Bleach are better for me xD

All anime has to end, obviously. I'm sure everyone will have a depressing feeling every time he or she finishes a series, but it will just wear off in time. ^.^ Meanwhile watch other Anime. T.T Right now, I'm depressed because I just finished Code Geass and hope there is going to be a second season.

From what I've heard, the anime wasn't popular enough in Japan, so they dropped it.
I was disappointed when I found out too D=
But the manga is still going! ^^

can there be a list of anime that has ended or what?

Hehe that list would be huge...
Anyway i actually like the way animes usually end, especially if it ends with the death of a main character. Of course its sad, but i like it sad, and it gives me kind of the feeling that it truly is the end.
Oh yeah and i simply hate it when they say the main character is going to die and then don't fulfill it. I would mention an anime, but i better not be a spoiler.

I am only depressed because its over in general ^^
I love all kind of endings, unless if there is no end I won't like it.

i agree with Raisa i get distracted easily and also never want to see a anime end but at the same time if its a story like claymore or tenchi or elfen lied that ends on a sad not but you really understand that while a second series would be great its not really needed

i agree i hate it when an anime that i like ends but u know what they say:
all good things in life must come to an end
illuma

you know what people do with that saying? They through it away and then set it on fire. Good things never need to end. If only anime wasn't so short!!! they need to make longs like hunterXhunter and yu yu hakusho and not just end after 26 eps.

I totally disagree, i think 26 episodes is the perfect length of a series, though 52 sometimes is ok. The longer ones always tend to move to slow in the end.
A fight shouldn't take more than one episode, except in extreme cases like the last fight of the series or something. If they're longer than 3 episodes they almost always suck.
If you watch stuff like Naruto you'll also notice that the storyline of each arc and filler is often the same. (Naruto meets someone, perhaps they fight, and then Naruto finds out they're just like each other, and they become friends)

Another thing that animes tend to do if they are based on a manga, is to either branch off at some point with their own story, or have an original ending. A lot of anime endings I have seen could have been much better. Some anime endings (In otherwise awesome anime) that I was disappointed or even enraged by were Fate/Stay Night and Desert Punk. And the ending for Saikano... well it just plain sucked, I mean... it just was stupid.

I like short series, 26 or less is perfect. I've loved some 52 epi shows but in the end i can't love the shows that drag on and repeat the same thing over and over again. the naruto summary was spot on. dragonball, by gt I could've cared less. Plus watching a 13 or 26 epi series that ends all meh, doesn't make you as upset at the end. though I can think of a few that have, haha.
I hate when Anime ends. I mean, I constantly watch more and more and more, wanting to see what happens next. And then before I know it, its over, and I am left staring at the screen... blinking.. scratching my head and wondering what I should do next. It is always depressing when a show ends, and even more so depressing when it ends in a way that I am not satisfied.
