Hello everyone,

I am new to the forums, but have been looking at AF for awile now. This has been one of my number 1 sites to look at anime. Just recently though I think you guys got sponsered by ZANGO. Well, I know from expierence, newspaper articles, and various spyware removal and virus removal site that ZANGO is amounst one of the biggest spyware and virus providers. When one downloads it, over 100 various spyware is added onto your computer. Even though they promise its not spyware, clear evidence has proved it. Once I downloaded it, guessing it was safe due to AF using it, my computer went off the deep end. I ran my spyware removals and virus removals and have 3 viruses and over 150 spyware from ZANGO. Also this was after I ran the spyware removal yesterday.

I would like hopefully a AF staff member or another anime watcher to comment on this...

That actually doesn't make sense to me, seeing as how sites sponsered by zango require you to dl the zango software which to the best of my knowledge, no one has ever needed to dl zango software to watch anything here, now if one of the streaming sites we link to happens to know be affiliated w/ zango, that is something we can't do anything about except change the link to a non-zango affiliated site. Why did you think we were affiliated w/ Zango? Did you receive a pop-up when you came to our homepage that required you to dl zango?

I have to say that there was an issue that occured within the php files of the site and it caused a test i was running of zango to occur within certain pages on animefuel. I do apologize and it was quickly fixed.

I have removed any instance of zango. I must say that I have noticed a large amount of anime sites using zango but never guessed it would cause such problems. Lucky for our members we wont be supporting the use of zango on the site as per the issues you have just pointed out.

Well I stand corrected, at the time I posted I did not know we were looking into zango as a possibility, sorry
