Hayate no Gotoku!(Hayate the Combat Butler)

well first things is first, this show is hilarious, I especially loved how it started, w/ evil santa, also to let you all know, 2 good pieces of news, 1. ep 49 is finally out and will be live in about an hour or two and more importantly 2. Hayate no Gotoku! has been picked up for a second season, no word if it will be 52 eps like the first season or what the emphasis will be on, but more hilarity will ensue, now that all out of the way, what has been your favorite gag so far?

Wow yeah this is a great show. I've only seen 11 episodes so far, but my favorite gag must be the very nice people. That is hilarious, also the "Career opportunities" they present and Hayate's imagined travel on a slaver ship.

lol, yeah that was hilarious, although Nagi's alter ego certainly was just as amusing, it's even better when you check out what the storyline is supposed to be as they edited it a little present a better image to the public, in the manga I believe it came out and said his dad was a bum, his mom burned all their money away gambling, and they gave him to the "nice ppl" so they could remove his kidney's and other organs to sell on the black market to recoup their losses, and then of course there is Sir Taiga(?) later in the story, that's a messed up situation

hahahha!! yea its definitely a funny anime. havent read the manga though. is it a big difference cause if it is imma read it

I don't know how different the manga is, I only know about that little difference in the setup for the manga and the anime and I found that out checking vital information on the series through wikipedia, although I do plan to buy the manga later on

both the series are great (acording to me that is) and i really hope that there will be a new season for both of them ^_^

no word on when the second season starts, it has been confirmed both on March 30th and the April release of Shonen, but that's it so far, 51 eps are now live btw, and hopefully ep 52, the end of season 1, will be live w/in the week
