Am I alone here when I say English dubs suck? It seems as if ever voice actor is trying to be over dramatic. As a result voices sounds like 5 year children, whining about things instead of a cool kick-ass anime. Maybe, I'm to anal about the whole thing but English dubs are horrible. I don't know how this site works but I'm starting to see more classic animes like

Kenshin
Full Metal Alchemist
and
Ninja Scroll

all being swapped from their traditional Japanese voice work to English and thats just bad. If I personally have to go out and buy the originals and up them somewhere I will but I think you guys should focus on getting those instead of cartoon network revamps.

We have both the subbed and dubbed versions of FMA, and actually I think the dub of Fullmetal Alchemist is one of the best dubs there are.

I agree with Koopaking on this one ya i do like subs a little more than dubed versions of stuff still its realy nice when you can just sit back and watch all the pretty animations instead of reading and watching at the same time cuz i dont speak anything but good old english.::D:

also its not that we try to only get dubbed versions because we dont. we try to get the best quality available wether it be subbed or dubbed. we dont specify that it has to be 1 or the other as long as its the best quality. thats all i have to say on the matter.

i agree with nishua that subb's are better for most anime's however there are a select few that sounded pretty good in English such as desert punk, fullmetal alchemist and rurouni kenshin shows like that sound ok and are enjoyable to watch in either subb's or dubbed.

Well some animes just sound better subbed then dubbed.. and some better subbed then dubbed. But me I really like just watching subbed.

why you all have to keep hating on the dyslexic otaku?(ironically being dyslexic, most of them have no idea how to spell "Otaku") but really just adding my voice, the issue isn't subs or dubs, it's what we can find, that's it, if I can only find a series in dub, that's what ur getting, if I can only find it subbed, then you'll get that, while we frequently go above and beyond searching for things on occasion, even we have limits, and this is one of them, what we find is what you get, so cross your fingers and hope for what you want, b/c unless you want to do the legwork and heavy lifting, to find or upload the stuff for us, it's going to stay this way
