Story behind the name

[Koopaking]

We all have usernames, aliases that we use on the site. But why did you choose the username you have? Does it have some deep significant meaning? Is it a childhood nickname? Just thought it sounded cool? What's the story behind your username? It will be interesting to hear everyone's stories.



I'll start off with my username: Koopaking. Why Koopaking? Well as you know (hopefully) the koopas are the turtles from Super Mario Bros. And the King Koopa is Bowser, the most awesome video game villain. Mwahahaha! Bowser has always been my favorite Mario character so I usually christen myself after the almighty Koopa overlord on most sites I use. Thought some of the time the name is taken and I go with Koopaking1981 (1981 being the year Donkey Kong was released).

when i was 8 i started skate boarding alot (about 6 hours a day after school) and by the time i was 10 my mom and friends started calling me a psycho skater cuz you wouldnt ever see me without my board. so from then on i became psychosk8r but other sites i usually use psychosk8r6906 (69 being a fun # and 06 being my graduation year)

Well mine is Corwin, Lord of Amber, son of Oberon and father of Merlin, from Roger Zelazny's book series Chronicles of Amber, it's one of the many usernames I use when I go from site to site, most of them are from books, but occasionally I pick from manga and anime

I needed a name for my barbarian in diablo II a long time ago and just sticked what sounded good together since then I kept using it :)

Actually, Ariya was one of my roleplaying names a long time ago, and I just love it. It sounds so pretty and elegant, so I've stuck with it. :3

Such a boring story. If this topic was on a different site I go to, I'd have a novel about it. xD

I'm still into MMO's: Well my Allias basicly is time related: Epoch > Epoc > and it basicly means Era wich is a more or less Special time-period. :P well i'm obsessed with Time... xD just look at my Post's xD Well i shortend it becuse Epoc sounds Cooler xD

The name Persha is a name I used for an assassin I played in a D&D campaign awhile back. She was one of my favorite characters....until she was captured by a drow raiding party and taking as a slave back to the underdark. I'm still waiting on the day one of my new characters stumbles upon her or more likely her remains.

But anyway..I wanted to create my very own 'japanese-animelike' name,and i guess i came up with shigami.It turned out it's very similar to the japanese word 'Shinigami' which basicly means Death God.

I joined this site around the time I was a fanatic of eureka 7. Now as some of you may or may not know the eureka 7 military LFOs are called KLF Mon-Soono. Add a couple numbers take away the dash, the KLF, and the o. And ta-da.

When I made this name, I am a RO fanatic. I always want an Assassin Cross back then. Inspired, I signed in on some forums with the name SinXxX. I am still using it, but nobody might know since Im just a lurker lost of the time.

DocHack came from a game that I used to play back then, Scion of Fate. I was a fan of the Nuker/Healer class. Then I started to think about one of my favorite anime .Hack, and then it hit me.... DotHack-t+c=DocHack perfect for a Nuker/Healer class, so thats how I got my name.

My name came from the very first character I ever created in a MMO. It's the one I used to register because she is still my favorite character.

My friends have called me Skitzo or Wackadoo my whole life. They only laugh when I ask why, then give a list of things they say was crazy or stupid. (Only 10% I agree with. lol) I even took Sir Skitzo as my Xbox gamer tag.

Ayumi is from one of my classmates who said my japanese name would be Ayumi Sakamoto (i don't think that so coz if i'm right my name exist in japan too) and Bee is shortened version of Bianka though it's originally Bia, 4 years ago we had an animated pannon gsm advertisement with singing Bee-be-Bee tam ta ta tam tam lol so this is the origin of Bee
