hmm...I'm trying to go off what you've got posted on your profile, and I'm sure some folk will make some better suggestions, but here's a few cents for now:
berserk
basilisk
cowboy bebop
gunslinger girl
samurai 7
hellsing
busou renkin
karas
...
those are a little generic, but I think a couple at least might be up your alley. hopefully you haven't seen them all, haha.
From your profile I say you should try D-Gray Man

Hello, there. I may have the thing for you. Ghost Hunt is simillar Death Note and Code Geass. These two animes are quite popular and the storyline is amazing. I'm quite sure someone will give you the same advise.
Here's a little bit of information regarding the two animes;
Death Note
Light Yagami is a very smart student who is disgusted with the corruption and deceit that he believes is ruling the world. He is lucky enough to find the notebook dropped by a death god, giving him the power to kill anyone just by writing down their name. The deaths of several criminals that he had selected prove the authenticity of the book and its power. This new power now makes him like a God, as he strives to create a new world free from suffering that he can rule over.
Code Geass
The Empire of Britannia has invaded Japan using giant robot weapons called Knightmare Frames. Japan is now referred to as Area Eleven, and its people the Elevens. A Britannian who was living in Japan at the time, Lelouch, vowed to his Japanese friend Suzaku that he’d destroy Britannia. Years later, Lelouch is in high school, but regularly skips out of school to go play chess and gamble on himself. One day, he stumbles on terrorists Eleven’s who’ve stolen a military secret and is caught by a member of the Britannian task force sent after them, who is Suzaku. As the rest of the squad arrives, Suzaku is shot for disobeying orders, while the military secret, a young girl, gives Lelouch the power of Geass, which makes anyone obey any order. While Suzaku is secretly made the pilot of Britannia’s brand new prototype Knightmare, Lancelot, Lelouch becomes the masked Zero to lead the rebellion to destroy Britannia once and for all.
It'll take a few episodes untill you understand why they both rebell. I enjoy watching these two animes cause their not like any animes, because what their doing is evil, but they both believe that the world won't change without getting your hands dirty, and that's what their willing to do.
I would advise you to start watching Death Note first. First episode may seem boring, but it gets much better at the end of episode two.
Make sure you watch Death Note in eng dub www.justdubs.net since their voices are wonderful, death note has the best dub i've seen.

Thanks for the suggestions, i have seen all of those and they are really good. there are still a couple i need to check out, but i'm sure i well like them, and in my opinion death note is the best. on another thought of mine if anyone knows of any werewolf or wolf related anime that would be cool the only one i know is wolfrain.
