i love how yagami light and L go head to head ....
and the way light thinks is unbelievable to think that he could be so twisted and cnning is just greart .... and the best thing about death note is how the story progresses ..and the episode always keeps you on your toes..(excited) and you aways want more of death note... and you never know what is going to happen you think you know but then you get all surprised .... i really wish it hadn't ended although light is the evil guy i still love him he is awsome hey guys what was your faivourite scene?

there are several godlike scenes in deathnote.

a good one i can think of right now is lights first actual attempt to kill L, where he asks Misa to tell him his name. First, he calls her, then realizes that L pickpocketed her when the phone rings in HIS pocket. He proceeds to dialing her spare phone; L's cell rings. After hanging up with whoever was on the phone, L turns around and says:

"This may be good or bad news to Yagami-kun, but Amane Misa has just been arrested on suspicion of being the second KIRA."

i think it was episode 15

OMG that is such a great scene.. also a good one is when light remembers every thing after touching the note ..and the feeling extatic for knowing he has won against L
and them making reme kill L's right hand man and then finally killing L ..and a few minutes after L's death you realize he has a back up plan and that is the rebirth os the new L

It was kinda weird how L always had his sweets and cakes and stuff, while Near had his/her(was Near a dude or a chick? I thought Near was a little girl until I read somewhere where it referred to Near as a he) toys and Legos all the time.

I think the writers wanted something to help identify some of the main charecters, that or they wanted to tell us that their is a price for genius

But whatever, I think L shouldnt have died, but Rem did it so I guess destiny cant be changed in his case, I am episode 28

However, I didn't like the end at all. They should have made it more dramatic, but that's just me. I was happy when L died b/c now he was out of the way. Yes he was cool, but after awhile he got annoying.

i completely agree with you. I didn't like Misa that much though, i think Near is cooler :dancing: . i pity the end being so... kinda empty.
besides that, i enjoyed the series very much ::D: .

Stumbled across Death Note by first watching the live action movies... I'm reading the manga now but have also started on the anime as well...

Enjoying this franchise overall and have started collecting the figurines! But I think that there are huge gaps in how Light and L 'find' each other through their own investigations... good attempt by the author all the same though...

Fave character has to be Misa... who doesn't like a punk gothic lolita! =)~~

i agree always kept you thinking as L set up his 'traps' to out wit Light,
to see how he'd over come them. was a shame that light had to die imho

well i only read the manga, but overall, it was still good. it's probably one of the best manga i have ever read. i love it when L took the misa's phone. i love that scene. the movie was awsome too! by the way this reminds me. check this out. it's a vid of the voice actor of light. he's the same person who voiced tamaki in ourhan highschool host club. just keep watching because tamaki is first then him voicing light is after that.
