in search of lost anime

im searching for an anime i lost the name but i thought maybe you guys can help

its about a princess from another world..

it starts with a boy with a normal live who works close to a restaurant next to him a friend (girl) is the daughters boss well he goess home and there is standing a girl in his living room and looks outside he is shocked and looks also outside and there is a girl outside ( the princess ) looking at the sky thats all i remember...

its basically a anime about a boy and a girl falling in love and then only thjey can stop the war between earth and (moon i thought) another planet..

well its really hard to explain but its not a new anime i think 2000 or something
