what do you think is a better weapon for you, a blade(swords axs ect) or guns?

This isn't really a debate, it's a preference. Guns are obviously much better than swords, provided you aren't limited to a handful of shots against a group.

but as i said, butter for you. not every one can use a gun and not every one can use a blade. personally im morlikely to kill with a blade then a gun

I'm not sure how hard it is to kill with a gun really. It's relatively simple.

But more importantly a gun takes out the personal aspect of the killing so would be easier to do for weaker people(mentally and physically). Personally I'll go guns, easier.

When you cut someone with a blade you have to really try at it and be able to finish the job. You take the sharp edge and slice it and cut through everything, marrow and all, as quickly as you can. Without a sturdy hand, you'll only make it half way and will need a retry to finish the job while your mark - still fully conscious - lies cut partly open with blood and innards strewn out across the ground. You pull back once more, this time delivering a cut that is straight and true. You feel the blade's resistance against flesh, bone, and muscle as it slices across the torso. Finally, the last strand breaks and your weapon glides effortlessly out of the newly completed incision. The deed is done.

Or just shoot him in the face and call it day.

A blade is better in most situations guns are wimpy and most dont shoot that far a blade is more swift and fast making the kill easy instead of making noise and causing attention

me, I'd prefer the blade(just to have a big ****ing blade).

but you need to consider in a situation where there are two people 7 feet away from each-other, do you want to be the one with the balde or the gun.

note: nobody start suggestion different distances, how close do you want to get to some one with a blade/gun.

hmmmmmm I think both are good because if your up close you can slice them up and if they are far away you can just blast them thats my opinion

ima think it all depens on how you ue=se those weapons. A samurai could cut a gun in half if he/she was a great warrior but if the gun man is a markmansor just plain great with a gun. It all depends on how you use it im not nocking anyone was else all of you had great opinoins.

You telling me that 400 meters isn't that far. I can guarantee you that most guns have a faster muzzle velocity then you could ever swing a sword. Lastly have you ever heard of a silencer.

I'd be the one with a shot gun at that range mister swordsmen will be on his ass. Even if you want to say a handgun you never said if it was drawn or not so assuming you are both ready the guy with the gun would still win.

Why can't you just shoot them up close?

I don't know if your facts are quiet right there because steel on steel doesn't typically cut things may damage the gun but I don't think cut them in half.

What fantasy world do you live in?

First Kenshin is a fictional character so he could. Second it was proved that a sword could cut a bullet in half but each half of it would hit you and second no one has the reaction speed to pull it off.

I'm agreeing with Sadrith on this. You can't compare real life weapons and skills with that of a fictional character like X-men or whatever. It's fiction for a reason.

As for me, I'd prefer to use a gun. Guns are by far more harmful and accurate. When you're talking blades you mean a sword, not a knife. A sword really does take skill to use properly and efficiently, whereas a mere child can handle a gun and kill someone with it without knowing anything about how to use it.

A weapons efficiency is more often than not dependent on the skill and speed of the wielder. It also depends on how close one's opponent is.

I guess if they are too close and the fire arm has the capacity then you could always bayonet them. Firearms have the same effect at all ranges swords don't if you are ready enough it won't matter if you are close enough with a sword.

i agree sadrith, a sword, to me is much more of a fantasy thing, id love to be able to use one with great efficiency, but a gun surpasses it, i face reality every now and again, wont you all join me?

When you go to the battlefield they give you a blade, rifle and a sidearm for a reason; they do something that the others TOTALLY can not do. Plus there is a thread like this already

blade, have u seen x-men the dude cut up the bullets as they came and then reflected them at the bad dudes and cut the rest up

Don't be a dumbass now.....
