I think I only know (And listen to) like 2 songs from Metallica (Whiplash, Puppet Master) compaired to 4 songs from ACDC, so ACDC

AC/DC is a party band, no real substance, just a lot of fun to listen to (at least their better albums). Metallica is a thinking man's metal band, with actual substance, and yet they still kick ass and take names the same way AC/DC tries to (again, their better albums).

Metallica is easily preferred for me.

Metallica is easily preferred for me. But you know, they aren't really the same kind of music at all, so I'm not entirely sure why you'd bother to compare them so closely.

definately metallica, better songs, attitude, and lyrics. ACDC has like 3 different songs and the rest are all the same with different lyrics. Thats just my opinion though.

i am just saying, that AC/DC didn't have as many hits as metallica does... the morjority of Metallica's songs are superbly executed. and yes AC/DC has good ones out there, but i see SC/DC dieing off shortly
