I've tried smoking, and I don't like it unless I'm super stressed or drinking.
I've never done weed but I do plan to give it a try at some point, I'm just too much of a wimp atm lol. I've been around people who have been doing weed but I opted to just drink and smoke, relaxes me enough. =] So atm my vote lies with smoking, until I try weed ofc.

And That is based on how relaxed I feel rather than medical stuffs. When it comes to the medical side of things then I'm pretty sure that drinking, smoking and smoking a joint is bad for me. =] We'll see.

Never touched the stuff... but i know alot of ppl who sell tobacco to get weed, that makes a statemant in itself

I smoke tobacco (Which I'm not very proud of. Plans of quitting are approaching). I used to smoke MJ, but I refuse to smoke it any longer (causes my heart rate to increase dramatically to the point where I can't breathe).

After stopping MJ, I really saw no point in why I did it. I mean, it tastes and smells disgusting, and the high isn't worth it. No drugs are worth it period.

I smoke cigars and I'd go with tobacco any day cause it won't kill me when I'm driving. But once and awhile I'd smoke a joint with my friends.

Many people on this site are severely misinformed on the facts surrounding Marijuana. First, it should be obvious that anyone with a knowledge of the two drugs would pick marijuana as being a better alternative. And anyone with a clouded judgment on the subject caused by a lack of information should keep their opinions to themselves. Tobacco products are a highly addictive and harmful substance. While some could argue that marijuana is just as harmful, the facts show that it is non addictive. There are many studies on the medicinal benefits of marijuana, many of which are hindered due to lack of funds or government control. Though the drug shows much promise of medical use. If you were to do some studies on the drugs, maybe you could base an opinion. My opinion is solid. Marijuana > Tobacco. I'm a non user by the way.

I hate both.... Just the smell of mj makes me really sick... Actually tobacco too... it makes my head aches...... So I just don't like it at all, and my friends that use it just don't do it next to me cuz theyu knows that it make me feel bad... actually I say to them that they shouldn't smoke it, but it's hard to make them understand it....

I've smoked weed and never touched tobacco. That should give away my answer right there.
I'm free of both now, and I'd still put my vote to marijuana if I had to. Personally I'd go the lesser traveled democratic path and choose to waive my vote, because they're both unfit for consumption in my opinion.
Tobacco is easy. In fact I'd disown anyone who seriously tries to give me apt cause to outbalance the negative effects of tobacco. You'd be not only a tool of tobacco but even worse a tool of marketing. Pitiful.
Marijuana has that little nook of medicinal purpose and the more popular hint of fun, but after years of dealing with it, and having brains enough to see the actual damage it does, you begin to lose interest. Personally it seems kind of boring now.
Point being, they'll both take years off your life, they both put you at risk for cancers of various types, they both have their little hidden shitty secrets and they both cost way too much to upkeep.

Actually if you really want to get into the whole medical thing, marijuana has some medical uses but not enough to be used as medicine. Yes it is true that i can help you gain your apetite after chemo or gain weight for bullimics but there is other medicine for that. now dont get the wrong idea im not against marijuana at all, quite the opposite actually. I just dont see how it could be used as medical treatment. Then there is tobacco. Tobacco is the worst thing for anyone ever. It has addictive chemicals and tobacco corporations put fiberglass in the mix to cut your mouth and deliver those chemicals to your brain faster. Marijuana on the other hand has not been chemically altered in any way. It is a natural plant that grows in the dirt. So in my opinion, marijuana.

2 What is the point of this debate? marijuana has SOME medicinal purposes, but in all honesty, give me a break if you have marijuana chances are it's recreational. And smoking well it's just plain bad for your health. Does this really need to be discussed any further?
