Recently, Ted Kennedy, heir to the long misfortunous Kennedy family (Assassinations, plane crashes, ect.) has passed on, leaving his seat in the United States senate open.

Of course, there are already people getting lined up for a shot of taking his place, and among them is the owner of 38 Studios (And it's recently aquired and incorperated Big Huge Games), Curt Schilling. 38 Studios is known for it's specialization of MMO games such as Warhammer Online and Everquest, but can running a game business mean success as a senator?

Not mentioned in the articles is wether or not getting the senate seat will result in more legal jumbo regarding videogames, and the affect to his company if he were to be given the position is un-certain. We'll find out what happens though.

That is an odd bit of news. I would say more but I just do not want to type it all out.

RIP Sen. Kennedy

And I guess it will be good to have a gamer in the Senate. Doesnt really matter to me, since video games are protected by the Constitution =/
