How Long, Why and How Many?

(Okay, well this is a poem that I wrote tonight. I was feeling kinda down and I needed to write a poem to let out my emotions)

How many more birthday candle's must I blow out?
How many stars must I wish on?
How many more tears must I shed, until I can't cry anymore.
How many prayers must I say?
Why must I question myself if they will be answered?
Am I selfish?
Wrong?
Bad?

Why do events transpire the way they do?
Why do things happen?
Why do people hate?
Why do people lie?

Life forever spirals.
Sometimes out of control,
Sometimes it slows down.
Sometimes time moves at a turtles pace
Sometimes your hear today and gone tomorrow.
You never know.

How many more times must I ask these questions?
Not to prove I'm dumb, not to prove I don't know the answer.
How many times must this empty shell walk the earth?
Bonded forever to this path of darkness.
How long untill the questions stop...?
