so i tried to wiki it but it hasnt told me around the ares i should watch the movies so i dont see spoilers im around episode 40 so probably still to soon to watch the first movie but if anyone can tell me when and where to start id appreciate it

Im not really sure what you already saw in those chapters but probably you can watch the first 2 movies: the one piece movie and Clockwork Island. Actually the movies has a different plot (not related to the real story, the only thing that can be spoiled are the crew members). But the movies are ok but never as good as the series.

NO the movies have nothing to do with the story, I think that maybe you can wait to see the movies in some specific chapters so it wont spoiled anything like charaters or special moves.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I do remember that some of the movies are based on past One Piece Episodes only remade to make it look better or for whatever reason or purpose.

Ex. The Arabasta Arc and How Luffy met and invited Chopper to join in the Straw-hats.

Yeap is like a summary of the arc, but not as good.
