IT had a good run and I'm thankful that they made the series as it is. However, I wouldn't want to ruin a good thing and ask them to create more (Besides, if you watched the movies then there's technically no way to continue the series. Anything new would have to be a re-envisioning like with the new FMA series)

Watch Rurouni Kenshin: Seisōhen (Samurai X: Reflection) and you'll see that that sealed the book for Rurouni Kenshin series.
