well... if you have a manga you're reading, it doesn't hurt to see if it's got an anime series to it and watch it.

yea definitely check out desert punk, funny as hell!!

others that i liked and could reccommend to you is 1. phantom requiem for the phantom-great anime so far, you get alot of people dying in a good episode, 2. toradora- loved that one, although its more of a romantic comedy, but still worth watching, and for the new ones catching my eyes are "Princess Lover!" and "Bakemonogatari"
