they are alterations or combinations of them

metal is an extension of earth using fire

ice is an extension of water

nice...advertiseing so nobody would see, huh. It's obviously a skin for a website, which would take a pretty good time to load, too many images. Basically a newbs attempt at web layout design...I have seen better.

The staff would have already done something to it.

Obviously, it's not a skin for a website. A forum, if that's what you meant.
Care to explain why you think it would take a pretty good time to load? Define how there are too many images?
And Web layout and forum layout design are two different thing. I don't think you should be comparing them with.

It would take about 3 minutes to load on a 56k modem connection. I tried it. A forum design uses images, same as a website design. I understand that it was a forum but a website is a website (which includes forums). Too many images because your home page has over 30 of em (small and large). this would take a while on even a 1mb dsl connection.

A forum is a category to a website BTW. You want a forum to be attractive but not gushing with special effects and eyecandy - it is too easy to get lost.

I don't mean to be evil or anything but I critic people, I don't like people just saying "that looks awesome". When people look for advice I give it to them (at least stuff related to gfx) . real CNC is not suppose to be sweet and nice, get used to it.

I see. So you're using 56k to measure the loading speed of a website. And you actually tried it.
Like i've said, what makes you think that there are too many images? How do you define that?

Based on animefuel forum, there are a total of 143 images ( 675 KB)
On the design i've shown, it only got 83 images ( 377 KB )
Unless you're telling Animefuel forum are having too many images and take a pretty good time to load as well?
Then i will have no further comment.
