The only reason that people are freaked out by this in the first place is a belief that the big man in the clouds will send you to hell for loving someone of your own gender. It's total discrimination, and for a reason almost as retarded as the opposition to african american and wemon's rights; Because they were different from the typical white european decended male.

People really need to open their eyes a little and understand that we're all human regardless of who was want to love, how we want to love and what we choose to worship (If any).

I myself have never had a problem with homosexuals. True that my faith says that Sodomizing is an abomination in the eyes of God (before someone attacks this, God loves the sinner but hates the sin; no more discussion on this), but hell, I'll be going to hell with the rest of you. You said it right lee, it is in human nature to dislike everything that is different. However, humans also have something called logic. We can choose whether to listen to our instincts or not. So, it doesn't mean that straight people will automatically hate gays. I agree though that there are people who do hate them. No that many though, or at least not as many as there used to be. So, that's something good!
My personal opinion is that they should be free to do whatever they want as long as that makes them happy and they don't bother anyone else. That is my true opinion.
