pick the first thread that you see, search for something worth reading or search for something that is worth reading AND posting?

I wanted to ask also this: "Or do you ask your self why are you even here" but then I realized that this question was meaningless. Because this is AF, for crying out loud, and such questions are indeed meaningless.

I just look at the list of recent unread posts and look at thread titles, and generally pick one or two things that sound mildly interesting or obscure, and then usually find out that they actually suck, so I rarely post.

First I'm cheking the unread posts, if the title is interesting or the topic I chek it. If I want to add something to it I post if not I just read it. That's why I'm not so active these days there aren't exciting topics.

I agree. And if it has too much text not broken into smaller paragraphs it's too difficult to read... You just lose the will to read.
