We continue our tale. I had just gone to a fort and just learned that humans no longer existed. Now, there was an evolved form of them. The Zien. Also, The fort was called Ragnarok. My adventures have lead me through many outstanding things and I felt that his place was my next stop.

"Ragnarok?" I asked questionably. " Yes." said the man. Whoa....this was unexpected. " Um..." I said nervously. " What?" replied the man. " This fort, it's name is Ragnarok..." I said. " Yes" said the man as if it were obvious. " What exactly is Ragnarok?" I said in finality. *silence* Finally, I heard the man say," Are you alone?" " Yea" I gulped, was he going to attack me? " Hmmm" I heard. It was faint but I also caught murmuring from within the fort. I shook at the involuntary quake of fear that my body had just set off. Was I going to die here? Were these people, the Zien, going to kill me right on the spot. I returned to reality as I heard footsteps approach. A second later, A human like figure that was at least 6 feet high came into view. The figure was clad from head to toe with plate armor. Makes sense since this was a fort but what really shook me was that these people looked like they were ready for war and war means to fight against someone....or something. " Maybe the Zien aren't the only intelligent species in the world" I thought. I had a feeling that I was going to find out later in my journey.

The figure stood there, motionless. I didn't dare move as well. Then, a familiar voice came from within the metal of the armor. " I am Alastor" said the man's voice. I didn't respond. " Don't you have a name?' said Alastor " ...No." I said plainly. " No!" Said Alastor, obviously surprised. " In this world, I have no name" I said. " Fine. I understand you are lost." said Alastor. I liked this guy. " Come on in." Said the man. Then, with on turn, he set off deeper into the fort. I followed. As I entered, I looked to my left and saw a single archer standing on a pile of wooden boxes. Or, At least I thought it was wood, it had the same color as normal wood. I looked at him straight in the eye, so this is where that arrow came from. " You coming?" said Alastor. I looked back to see him waiting. " Yea." I said. I scanned the area to get a better picture of how the fort was layed out. It was a typical boxed formation with more of those boxes on every inch of wall. This place was defiantly built for war. I also saw a market which had trinkets of which you wouldn't understand. I also saw a row of houses. I assumed they were where Alastor and the other troops slept but I quickly figured out that I was wrong. I saw what looked like ordinary citizens coming in and out of some houses. This wasn't just a fort, it was a village as well! We rounded a corner and I saw the biggest building of all, A large temple.

" What's the temple for?" I asked. " You'll find out soon enough." Said Alastor with a grin on his face. I gulped. We climbed the giant staircase up to the temple. I figured that this was a command base for this fort. 2 guards were at the door barring weapons of a strange design. they were like a pole arm but tipped with an axe head and bladed all down one side. It looked pretty painful. Alastor showed them his hand and they stepped aside. Maybe they used glyphs to communicate. I looked back at Alastors hand but found it empty and plain. I quickly breathed harder than normal. What had just happened? How did they know to let Alastor past? Was it that Alastor had great renown? " How did you do that?" I asked. Alastor said nothing. He just kept looking straight ahead. I averted my gaze and looked ahead as well. We soon came to a pair of doors. It was plain except for a small etching of a lightning bolt going through a line. "Maybe that is the Zien symbol." I thought. Alastor once again raised his hand and placed it on the symbol. To my astonishment, I glowed red. He then did a series of motions with his hand. The symbol glowed from red to yellow. Then, A creaking sound. I looked at the door as it begane to swing inward. The room inside was dark. Alastor stepped in. I followed. No sooner had I placed one foot inside the room when The room lit up and, on great chairs sat men and women clad in golden armor.

" I have brought this traveler here because he is lost and needs advice." said Alastor. " Ohh." said one man in the corner. " Yes, he needs a path. I ask of you, the Zia-Ren to guide this young soul to his rightful place." said Alastor. I gulped. Rightful place? Murmur appeared between the Zia-Ren. Finally, The man in the middle said, " Silence!" Everyone stopped talking. " If it is guidance you seek, then I shall give it to you." He said. " Come" he said afterwards. I walked up. In just 5 steps, I felt myself flying, I looked down and saw that there was land below me! I looked forward and I found I was really flying! I seemed to be going through a desert like place. At the end of the desert, I saw my view fork left and continue. After 2 minutes of rapidly moving trees and green life, I stopped to see a white spot. I instantly closed my eyes and opened them again and found myself back in the room with Alastor and the Zia-Ren. " That, is where you must go" said the man in the center." What exactly is that?" I said. " It is a place called Terian." said the man." Now, Alasator, take the traveler to the desert of Mysithia so he can begin his quest." said the man. I felt Alastor grab my arm," Understood." He said. Alastor pulled me back and walked to the front of the temple again. I looked back to see the room was dark.

We emerged from the temple. Alastor put a bag full of what I guessed were supplies in my hands. He took me back to the doors and walked out into the open. He turned right and walked off. Mentioning me to follow. I followed. I knew that this was all strange and sudden but I felt it was the right thing to do. We walked for about an hour and we reached the desert of Mysithia. Alastor came to a stop. I went out onto the desert. Looking at it in awe. I turned back to Alastor only to see that he was gone. Next stop, Terian.

Damn this story keeps getting more interesting!!! It all happened a bit fast though! They didn't even leave him a day or two to relax...

Yea. well, 2 resons for that.

1. I kind made this story on a tight sceduale.:p Haircuts.:\

2. It really hasn't been that long. In fact, it hasn't even gone into night time yet. At best, it's been like 1 to 2 hours since the character first emerged in the world.:P

Yeah that was what surprised me... They didn't explain a thing to him and just sent him on a journey! We are still confused over what happened with the war and how could humans evolve in only 2 years. But other than that it is very interesting and well written! Congratulations!!!

ok, Thx!::D:

Now, For all questions,
1. It hasn't been that long.

2. They didn't tell him anything because, again, I had to rushed this one.

3. The *2 years isn't enough time thing*, I explained this in the beggining of the second part. This question was asked by the character so the answer is sure to come.::D:
